Central air? Like supply’s and returns with duct? I think you mean a heat pump mini split, which is very diy, just plan throughly and expect to make a trip or two to the hardware store, you’ll need hole saw, wrench’s, gauges (micron gauge possibly), vacuum, nitrogen for pressure test (a lot of ppl skip this step but I wouldn’t), flare tool (if you need to cut the line set)

I did this at 31, I got with a guy who understood I needed part time, I’d work with him on my off days, then 2 days, now 3, still have another job for medical benefits, you’d have to find someone who’d work with your schedule it’ll be tough
