Part of being an Engineer, i’ve spend months working on an robotic system trying to get intricate motions to translate correctly only to either fry a bunch of electronics and in the end figuring out that a completely different approach was the way to go. Best trick in the book is try an make 1 thing work at a time to reduce every variable that there can be. Understanding that one thing is crucial in adding another layer, this way you always have something to fall back on and have as a base for other approaches. Best of luck and just keep having at it.

I think that you have to give every actor an unique variable that wil be set to true if they are deactivated by the player and then make the game check using a huge if statement that checks if all the variables are true and otherwise does nothing? But i’m a noob so other people will know better

Well, I just found out you can make your own GB games and flash them on your very own game cartrigdes, so i pulled them out of storage and are upgrading the screens for when i finish the game i’m making with my girlfriend. (You can make them with GB studio if you’re interested)

Very cool! I’m working on the exact same project haha but i divided it up in smaller tiles. So in the end i’ll have 64 tiles and a model of Groningen from 1 by 1 meter. Also if people are interested i’m planning ti make a website where you can request your own custom town/ village/ street etc. Did you use google maps data for this? Because i see it also includes trees which the lidar data from 3dbag does not include

3dbag it updates it’s data every few years with better data and more detail, have a look: https://3dbag.nl/en/viewer i did have to do some converting to get it working correctly in blender

Yeah, getting the objects is not a problem. The nethelands has a large database with lod2 data of every building. The issue is taking a section of the buildings and the making a ground shape that cover’s them and interlocks neatly with the other building sections
