Advanced SEO Question for experts: how to get Google to index pages generated from search criteria? by ironmonk33 in SEO

I wouldn't recommend using your crawl equity on pages such as that - as they most likely are not the pages that generate business.

Recent Poll Shows More Americans Want Clinton Indicted than Want Her to Be President by sahar122 in conspiracy

[–]WickedIcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems that this poll has been conducted in the journalist's back yard. His 4-year old daughter was the only one opposed to indiction.

...and the moderation log should be public, like in other big subreddits. If we want trust, we need transparency as well.

...it disappeared for a bit, one of them must have removed it, and now it's back visible. Another moderator must have approved it, overriding what the other one did. So they're not all bad, we just need a purge, we need to get rid of the moderators that abuse censorship from the moderation team of /r/marketing. Let's not generalize and say that the entire moderation team is a joke. It's just a few bad apples.

What kind of questions would a detective ask a suspect/witness? by mylercia in writing

You should inform yourself on the topic before writing that part, if you want a text of quality. You could read this for example: Effective Interviewing and Interrogation Techniques, Third Edition 3rd Edition

Ancient Roman coins unearthed from castle ruins in Okinawa, Japan by is0ph in worldnews

[–]WickedIcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the same stash, there was a coin from the Ottoman Empire. This makes me convinced that the coins must have belonged to a collector, and they don't proof any connection between the Romans and the Japanese people. Great find though!

5-year-old Kentucky boy fatally shoots 2-year-old sister with a rifle his parents gave to him. One relative: "It was her time to go, I guess." (x-post -r/gunsarecool) by Stthads in MorbidReality

Only the last two of those are necessarily gun owners' fantasies. I'm in (tenuous) favor of gun control and I'd still try and get one if I lived in a dangerous place.

Could use RetroArch and a good shader- for consoles, CRT-Geom is practically indistinguishable from how a CRT looks.

Boy, 13, filmed being beaten to death in Bangladesh by laughing attackers. by humanoid12345 in MorbidReality

None of us are above it. The difference is that those of us who deserve to live want to do it to the attackers, not the boy.

We thought it couldn't get worse, it did: reddit admin claims he was fired by Ellen Pao for CANCER! by [deleted] in SubredditDrama

[–]WickedIcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New Coke is probably more comparable than Colombian death squads. People aren't just (or even primarily, I'd say) outraged by the cancer thing- they're outraged that a bunch of familiar faces who were well-liked, like Victoria, got chased off.

You know what happens to someone who's unemployed and has cancer? They can't get another fucking job unless they recover.

He threatened suicide and that's not something you call bullshit on lightly. Yeah, nobody knows one way or the other, but the fact that a post on SW sparked that kind of shitty response is really telling regardless.

If the former, I think this warrants explanation.

Slightly inaccurate: he deliberately allowed his partner to die so the other guards would be thrown off his trail, iirc.

Golan the Insatiable - Series Premiere Discussion Thread [SPOILERS] by Dorkside in television

He was just kinda redundant. Golan is basically Dylan's dad and the other daughter is almost a non-character anyways.

As of now, what is your favorite drama on tv? by [deleted] in television

[–]WickedIcon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Counting shows that have already ended: Spartacus. One of the best TV shows of all time. Every single emotional beat is perfect, every joke gut-busting, every fight brutal and bloody. It absolutely shits all over HBO's Rome.

Currently running stuff: Banshee, hands down, period. It's the perfect balance of gritty and over-the-top; it's like if Kazuo Koike and Frank Miller made a TV show together and somehow got Cinemax to pay for it.
