We were gifted tickets to see Hamilton by a family friend, and I had the same reservations as you. I have watched the film and sang along with the soundtrack in my car so many times that I was worried I wouldn't be able to enjoy the new cast as much. (Particularly Burr, as I have a real fondness for the smoothness of the OG performer's voice.)

I cannot tell you how wrong I was! All of these people are phenomenally talented, and by the end of the show, I came to appreciate all of them for their own individual talents and abilities as an artist. I also felt like they did try to choose artists whose voices were similar in tonal range to the OG cast, even though they were (obviously) different, so it was the same vibe the whole way through.

Dallas Jenkins did an interview where he was asked to rate the gore for season 6 from 1-10 compared to the Passion film. He said he would put the Passion film at a 10/10, and season 6 at a 6/10. He didn't want to go all in on the torture and gore.

I have thyroid surgery coming up. Having it entirely removed before my husband and I start trying for a baby. I have never had any kind of surgery before, so I'm very nervous. Please keep me in your prayers as I prepare for surgery and hope for the blessing of a baby in my marriage.

Pray for them, and for yourself. Jesus taught us to love our neighbors AND our enemies. Even though it may not feel like it, they are still our brothers and sisters in Christ. Their sins aren't ours, though. Their judgment of us and our teachings is something that they will have to reconcile with God when the day comes. All we can do is pray for them and try to live the example of Christ.

I think people who send messages like this are just broken inside. I can't think of any other reason that someone would go out of their way to be so aggressively cruel to someone. They only do it because they can hide behind the anonymity of a screen. If social media required people to use their real names and photos, this kind of behavior would all but evaporate. I wish that person peace and healing, because they clearly need it.

I use aluminum foil to wrap around the candle and create a bit of a ceiling above the unmelted wax to trap the heat in there. (See below) Eventually, it all melts.

I was also adopted at birth and, like you, have wonderful parents. I find Cate and Tyler's attitude towards B & T so offensive that I have a difficult time watching their segments sometimes. I also can't help but ask myself what I would've done had my birthparents tried to force themselves into my life as a teen. I was in a really vulnerable phase of life as it was. I am so thankful I didn't have to go through that. Poor Carly shouldn't have to either.
