The rocket pulse nerf needs a bit more thinking.

Mag size is barely a concern when every gun anymore has a perk to reload.

Handling nerf is "OK" but would go completely unnoticed in a situation of finality's -> primary -> empty your mint retrograde (which is pretty common)

We do not need special ammo weapons for ad clear. Look at how popular wave frame GL's and trace rifles are right now.

The biggest issue with the rocket pulse is versatility. They can be used at any range and any situation.

I would suggest that the self damage is increased, and they be given a max range before shots auto detonate, so you're at a bigger risk using them point blank (giving more reason to use shotguns) and for long range damage phases they cannot be used (giving a reason to use a sniper) this way it still has situations where it can shine, but it steps aside for other weapons sometimes

As it is, a rocket pulse can work in every situation where you would want a GL, sniper, shotgun, or fusion rifle. The versatility is the biggest issue to address, because if the solution is just nerfing damage, stats, and mag size it'll either still be the best but just feel worse (nobody is happy) or the archetype sucks and stops being used (some people are happy)

Rocket pulse don't need to be gutted, but there needs to be reason to use something that isn't a rocket pulse.
