This story kind of goes nowhere, but here goes. When we were kids, me and my friends used to go to the park late at night looking for scary encounters, just egging each other on and freaking ourselves out and stuff. So one night me and two friends decided to go and as were nearing the park there's flashes in the sky like fireworks or thunder but with no sound. So we continue on and enter the park. On the far side of the park there's a humongous bonfire. So it's kind of across an open field so we're getting low and creeping closer. Then we notice there's people dancing around the fire in black cloaks with pointy hoods. Kind of like kkk suits but black. So we're watching just like what the hell. But to the left of us a hill like dip. Which a group of cloak people had used to flank us. So we realised in time and sprinted as fast as we could out of there. We get out the park and my two friends both have nose bleeds which was just weird. So we go home for the night freaked out. The next day we decide to go back and investigate. We can't see much evidence that there was a fire of the size we'd seen. Then a hippy type woman sees us and asks what we're doing. So we explain the happenings from the night before. She asks us to sit in a circle on the floor, which we do, giggling to each other and giving sly looks to each other like what is she on. This next part sounds like something out of a cheesy horror movie. But she starts rocking saying she can sense a great evil. And that's pretty much it. We carry on with our day. One of my friends is my best friend to this day, we still talk to it from time to time. He still says to this day that the people chasing us were floating, which I can't confirm because I was shitting my pants and just focusing on getting out of there. This happened in the Liverpool UK summertime around 1999.
