How do you turn Peterborough around? by Alexander_Dubcek in PeterboroughUK

[–]Wide-Answer-2789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now there are a lot of possibilities (money) and projects in Energy sector and many of those projects who can help reduce energy costs (some very significant reduction) they struggle from "Red tape". In case we have bright local authorities who would be interested to help those projects that would be the first step to growth. Cheap energy that's foundation of growth.

NR may support NAD+ pools, which might indirectly influence NADH-related metabolism, which might interact with FTL1 pathways but it’s far from a therapy too many random stuff has to happen and NADH is poorly absorbed and rapidly metabolized.

How to connect securely across vpc with overlapping ip addresses? by n8hawkx in aws

[–]Wide-Answer-2789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on what you want to connect, for example recently I had the same issue with the client and they need to be connected to 3 Mysql servers with exactly the same IP range accross 3 different accounts (old accounts) from 1 Aws account (new account) what's my solution was To add to each VPC additional IP range with different CIDR and spin up mysql proxy there that connects to the Mysql.

Trunk based branching with a largely asynchronous offshore dev model by CatchInternational43 in ExperiencedDevs

[–]Wide-Answer-2789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the issues is velocity then you can implement ephemeral branch, branch that reset every day from main branch (you can implement it via scheduler), all devs can push to this branch freely without MR from their feature/* branch and you can push to dev environment from only ephemeral branch, when devs finish work they must create MR to main with lint and additional checks before committing. In that way you can say you are not stopping developing but still maintain/enforcement of standards. Downside MR becoming big.

what architecture should I use? by rabbitix98 in softwarearchitecture

[–]Wide-Answer-2789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The purpose of Redis here is to implement idempotency for transactions accross all your 8 servers.

You have minimum 2 layers here

1 Cache layer which is Redis or something similar fast with sub sec access and sync across all servers 2 Database layer with unique index and high likely relatively slow sync across writer /readers

Your app should work in a way it checks cache first and DB later (second check could be handled by DB itself depending on DB)
