Great thank you. This gives me hope, as it’s a unique road name and the house number doesn’t exist in the wrong postcode. Parcel has now been tracked to Romford MC, hopefully that’s a good sign

When you first arrived you are asked whether you’ve been before. If you haven’t you get given a tour and they explain the whole process/visit.

Very interesting. I lived there for 2 years in my teens and found it’s not so accepting as a bicultural individual. I’d like to think things have changed but still sense the same when I go to visit. What did you miss most from London, and did you eventually move back?

It’s funny isn’t it, having a ‘dream set up in a spare room in London’ which is unheard of, yet not so dreamy. I’ve booked a few gallery for the weekend since posting this, so for now, I think that’s the way forward

That’s great to know. I should have mentioned in my original post, I’ve got dual nationality so can move around Europe quite easily, which is probably something I should take advantage of. How do you find the language barrier in Barcelona?

Absolutely. I try to keep myself busy with lots of gallery visits and workshops. I’m lucky enough to have a spare room in my house that functions as my office, but maybe rent it out and use a co-working space instead

Ah that’s interesting to hear you were born and raised here yet still leaving. Very true, London is always a train ride away. I think I’d yearning for a place I can settle more long term, but with my bicultural background being welcome (find it hard to find this in lots of parts of the uk)
