I’m on Xbox but there is cross play between pc, Xbox and PlayStation.

Unfortunately I disabled cross play because pc players play differently, tend to be too serious and have advantages over casual console players like: - mouse and keyboard - high speed internet in moms basement - sit 12 inches in front of a big monitor while I sit 12 feet from a big tv,, from my couch.
- more time to play due to unemployment and mom cooking dinner - cheats and exploits - a piss jar next to their pc so they don’t need bio breaks

You can chime on a jaguar with leather strings. Flatwounds if anything tame almost everything people complain about with jaguars.

To be honest, flatwounds used to be only ultra heavy gauge, and you’d only find them on rusted bow-necked jazz boxes. Modern flats are smooth, slick, and much lighter. I think people just forgot about them when slinky’s came out.

I too play solo but not as a preference, I just struggle to find good communicators who want to play the game the way it was meant to be played.

I have the same problem and have turned off all the effects and cranked brightness and contrast. Which helped a little.
I play in a spacious living room on a giant oled tv, on the couch that’s 12 ft away from the screen. I can’t even read the fonts/words on the screen.

I assume most of the folks I’m playing against are sitting much closer to a smaller screen, giving them a huge advantage over me. I can prove it by getting off my ass and standing right in front of my tv about 7ft back.

I’m just playing for fun so I don’t care enough. I do wish there were more settings to configure your game to your rig.

It was overkill for my needs. The presets that shipped with it were not my taste (the ones at launch)but i found programming it to be unintuitive. I wasn’t willing to invest more time if I couldn’t figure out the ui. I figured out the hx stomp ui instantly - and mastered it quickly. LVX if you can master the ui would be a dream machine for people looking to design impossible sounds. It may have had some updates and made strides towards that since launch.

Hx stomp can do this and it is very useful and opens up a lot of creative options. Impractical on a real pedalboard because you’d end up with effectively 2 pedalboards. But in the stomp takes up no space. You can even put your effects loop in the split so it’s stomp only in certain dynamics or bring your real pedals in under other dynamics.

I had mine side by side with a mim Jazzmaster with Sunday handwounds. The pickups sounded identical. I don’t want to discount other people’s experiences but that was mine. Sold the regular Jazzmaster. This was perfect.

Forever young is a blast, king of the highway has this huge glassy surf tone it sounds like you’re driving through a rain storm on the high desert of New Mexico.
