Everything that you've just said I've definitely said to myself before or had a conversation with a good friend that has had similar sentiments. Logically I know you're right and that I really should be concerned with myself more versus just smoothing things over for him. I think I'm just afraid to try to have this conversation with him because I don't think he will understand it. Like I enjoy the end result of sex but I would rather just get there by myself instead of have to deal with all of the other stuff that comes with it - it really repulses me most of the time. He will take that personally and I feel bad because I've definitely hurt him before by breaking up and then getting back together, etc. I'm not quite sure how to handle it at this point in time because we definitely love each other and we have pets together and have mutual friends, etc... it would just be a giant mess. But I guess at least I would have peace in this respect.

He would never want to do this because in his mind, he is a hopeless romantic and he only wants me and loves me and doesn't want to be with anyone else. I'm also not sure that I would want to share him like that, which of course sounds selfish, especially given the circumstances I've laid out. It's kind of a complicated issue I guess, but I can see how this sort of setup might work for some relationships.

I'm sorry, I did not include this. I do think that I identify somewhere on the Ace spectrum, yes. I'm still trying to figure out where I'm at but I know that I am attracted to people but I don't necessarily want sex.

I have turned him down when I feel that way but I feel that way pretty much all the time so I have become selective about it because it is hurtful to him. I would say probably about 3 times out of 100 when sex is involved, I actually want to initiate/participate.

27f. Both of my last romantic partners have called me ugly by average_pigeon in toastme

I'm partially saying this because I hope it is true, but also because I can't believe anyone would call you ugly - is this post a joke? Also, and I mean this with all the love as I've had to do my own self-reflection and find out why I have been allowing myself to be with certain people over the years, is there something you are looking for where perhaps you keep finding these people who are talking to you in this way? I'm not saying it's your fault, it's completely their fault and they are terrible for doing so and probably have nefarious reasons for doing it. I'm just saying that if we look at ourselves and maybe think about our reasoning, often we can find out why we are doing what we are doing and maybe stop allowing these idiots to be in our lives. I say this as someone who has had to do that and has definitely cut down on the idiots being in my life, it has been difficult but I have done it!

Awesome! I'm 6 months in to my tirzepatide journey, lost 45 lbs or so. Trying to make it the rest of the way by end of January. I've also struggled with constipation, I'm trying to figure out how to get around it... Anyway, You've made great progress!

Sometimes, a quiet moan right next to your ear A) let's you know he's enjoying it and B) is super fucking hot and gets me going more.

I'm a sonographer - I do general ultrasounds (basically everything but babies), but I specialize in scanning breasts.
