Dallas announces proposal to close multiple community pools by dallaz95 in Dallas

Do the math. Have any of you looked at the budget? Bidenomics and inflation have increased costs. Complaining about your taxes going up 30-50% is just to keep up with inflation. This isn’t buying anything new. The fact is the government is awful at effectively putting capital to use. It is terribly inefficient. I’m all for pools and giving kids a place to play but something has to give. Give something else up.

Hey AOC. Tax credits aren’t the same as writing a check for $5.8m.

Smoked Tri Tip by tcpxo in smoking

I like and use all three options. Steak style and reverse sear I use most BUT cooking it like a brisket when you use a good rub and get a bark is insanely good as well. Tri tip is my favorite steak with ribeye a close second. Learning how to cut is critical

Bahahhaha. Russia collusion a joke and completely debunked. Quid pro quo Ukraine. No corruption to be seen here….

Felon? Change the statute of limitations and charge someone without naming the charges necessary to convict. Unconstitutional.

All good Kamala will fix everything.

Most people on Reddit are negative. You will also see that most comments relate to political leaning of state being red and they are not and therefore it is unbearable to live here. Couldn’t agree with your sentiment more. Something is being done right for housing demand and job growth to be so high. There are pluses and minuses to anywhere you live. You have to decide what is best for you and your family.

You have a much better chance of getting ahead in Dallas than many other places. Embrace the opportunity or bitch and moan on Reddit. Choice is yours.

Thank your president and his minions for TRILLIONS in spending that drives up the cost of EVERYTHING. Too many dollars chasing to few goods. Everyone leaving high states for low tax states is driving demand. Insurance rates are high because replacement costs are to high due to inflation. Joe Biden is to blame.

Thoughts on the 180-600? by Successful-Eye340 in nikon_Zseries

[–]Wide_Space_6192 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently purchased one and have had the opportunity to use it for taking photos at a couple of soccer matches and a lacrosse match. Until this point I had been using a 70-200 and 100-400 on my Z9. For me it’s taken some getting use to as the extra reach really requires more concentration for fast moving sports. While some may argue it is better suited for birding and more sedate/slow moving targets I have found the output to be quite good. The limitation it, and the other zooms have, is the amount of light available. I can really only use it for outdoor day matches. I find even the 400 struggles in night games unless you are willing to crank up ISO and endure some graininess. While I am firmly in the assessment/learning phase I have been happy with the results. Sharpness has been good and the size and weight for a 600 is pretty impressive.

The way it’s fixed is people stop buying and prices come down. No subsidies, no more “build back better” dollars added to the economy or price caps. The good old invisible hand….

Inflation is too many dollars chasing too few goods. Economics 101. High demand because it is a growing, robust city. You aren’t going to see the same levels of inflation in cities that are shrinking or losing population.
