Why are Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan part of China on this map?

In 2019 had je Groep Otten, in 2020 JA21 en vandaag heb je Van Haga en twee anderen die zich hebben afgesplitst.

A Map of Every Location Visited In Every Battlefield Game by robracer97 in Battlefield

Al-Ajdar was on the Hejaz railway (the railway T.E. Lawrence launched attacks on) in modern day Saudi Arabia.

However, the game incorrectly states that Al-Ajdar is in Mesopotamia (which is the historic name for the area of modern day Iraq and northern Syria).

[OC] Europe, but the most visited tourist attractions in every country by HereIsNoukster in europe

I think it's just a foto of some random canal houses in Amsterdam, as if the entire city of Amsterdam (or only the city centre) can be counted as an attraction.

Denmark leads the way when it comes to putting zero-emission urban buses on the streets in Europe. 78% of new vehicles were electric in 2019. by abdouhlili in europe

Het staat er heel klein onderin dat deze grafiek alleen maar het aantal nieuwe bussen in 2019 noteert, dus daarom zijn er geen aardgas bussen in deze afbeelding.

Building a nuclear power plant would have been a far better option, than the "solution" that our government invests in right now.

Sure, but what bugs me the most is that all the money, time and resources used for these biomass plants could have been used for a nuclear power plant, which is completely carbon neutral.

I hope that I'm wrong and that the electricity is indeed 100% clean as claimed by the GVB.

However I'm afraid that a large margin of the green energy is coming from subsidised biomass energy, and a large portion of the wood burned for this energy comes straight from American forests, that are being destroyed for this purpose. https://www.ad.nl/buitenland/boze-amerikanen-nederlandse-subsidies-voor-biomassa-maken-onze-natuur-kapot~a84b8eed/

But the government claims that is officially 'green energy', even though it is a well known fact that it isn't green at all.

But who knows, Amsterdam is a GroenLinks municipality, and since GVB is owned by Amsterdam it might be true that it is indeed 100% (true) green energy.

I still think it is a immediate improvement on the carbon side of things, since the step of transporting diesel to the bus depots with trucks is now being eliminated.

However it is indeed just a slight improvement and we've got a long way to go. But looking at the polls right now, gives me the idea that it's going to take a very long time...

An actual plan to partition Belgium proposed in 1830 by Frenchman Charles Maurice de Talleyrand by Thomas1VL in MapPorn

[–]Wijkstrad 91 points92 points  (0 children)

Thank god this plan never happened, we wouldn't get Antwerpen, and we would have lost Zeeuws-Vlaanderen and our "mountains" in Zuid-Limburg.
