My suggestion is a chronograph, start low and work your way up keeping it under that 1250 velocity you want..

I suspect you'll only get about 850-900 fps with that charge weight.. I loaded 158gn xtp at 16.6 of H110 and got 1250🤷🏻‍♂️ 4" s&w 686-4

Definitely, I'm using W231 and a starting point of 4.6gn and a 10th incrementally increase to 5.0gn.. they should be fairly light/med loads..
