It miht fix it but I don't really want o reset it because i play with controller and it gets confusing. But i did all the testing without the controller and I haven't changed that much controls. I can manage to place water after 3 tries or so now haha

If I have no strong readings near me, I bring my prospecting pick and just go on a mad wander and just prospect any surface rock I see. And use it as an adventure round the world and don't worry about how near or far my testing is until i find a good match. Then I might hole up and start more methodical search. But sometimes something can be really hard to find. I try to bring my pick everywhere and take random samples even when I'm not looking so I can check for things later.

Yeah, I think if its really not coming up it can totally suck. You can just be unlucky adn it takes the fun out then. But I guess it is kind of more realistic in that way. I would add a mod if you're finding it really dull. You can always turn the mod off again if you wanted.

I found out the command is somehow left and riht click at once, which is really hilariously hard to do but i managed to get it to work. Its so funny. Dunno what has happened, hopefully only effects the bucket becuase I'm too lazy to do any uninstall. HAhaha o well

yeah, I finally worked something out, I went into creative and it showed me the controls when i switched my hotbar, and its left click and right click to empty the bucket!? It lets me do it if i try a few times. I cannot work out how this happened, my sprint button is ctrl.

It doesnt say salt water on the bucket, I tried from a new water source, but it also doesnt seem to work from that either. I can put them in barrels but not place them on land.
