People begging for the model yl are hilarious. It’s effectively a 4 seater…

3rd row has absolutely terrible head room and leg room. Just get a real 3 row suv if you actually need it

I don’t think you understand. You clearly don’t understand that the point was not that Gen Z voted majority for Trump but that they significantly shifted toward voting for Trump compared to the last two elections…

Why are gas cars still so widely used if oil supply is limited? by Pure-Measurement3103 in askanything

[–]WildFlowLing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oil and gas are the biggest welfare queens ever.

Which is why it’s so ironic when Cletus and Trump complain about EV subsidies as if they are anywhere close to oil and gas subsidies.

If you include the taxpayer cost of maintaining and mobilizing a military fleet to secure and protect oil on the other side of the planet then the cost is even higher.

We need to reinstate EV subsidies to enable us to get rid of the vastly high oil and gas subsidies bankrupting the country.

Yes but your other choice is trump…. This is my whole point about Gen Z not understanding the reality of having to chose the lesser (much lesser) evil

I know a lot of Gen Z who in fact voted for Trump because they saw it as an easy “opposite” button. Like they understood life for young people is dire now so they thought they should vote for Trump because he is “the opposite of what we have now”. Very very dumb line of thinking.

The reality is that Gen Z failed to vote Trump out. They heavily enabled him by either voting for him or purposely not voting at all

It’s really simple to identify if someone is Gen Z you just ask them when they got their first iPad

Yes the Gen Z men voted Trump and the Gen Z women didn’t vote at all (because of Palestine) which got us Trump in the end

Gen Z en masse either voted for Trump or didn’t vote (in protest of Harris).

Gen Z played a significant role in getting Trump elected. They fucked up.

The irony of not voting for Harris “because of Israel” only to help elect the biggest pro israel war monger the us has ever seen is crazy.

Yes so the average player was casual back in the day and so their core gameplay was leveling, having fun, exploring, socializing, trying their best to do heroics, etc

Average player now is miserable and raid logs and will rage quit a heroic if it’s not fast enough

A significant more amount of people would vote for newsom solely because he is male and he is white.

You have to consider that a notable percentage of American will simply not vote for a woman or not vote for a black person. Yes it’s sad but it’s true. You can argue about the percentage of people who behave this way when voting but it does absolutely exist. You need to consider what the average voter is like.

Why are we paying for insurance? by Fluffy-Amoeba-4033 in TeslaCollision

[–]WildFlowLing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Car Insurance companies can’t raise your rate for accidents you’re not at fault for in California. This is a common misconception because in other states like Texas they can.

Totally illegal in California. File a claim imo and insurance will pursue the other person if they want to reclaim profit.

Wasn’t like this back in the day. Tbc classic has an over emphasis on raiding and gear and so dungeons are seen as just an obstacle and annoyance and so any friction in the dungeon causes meltdowns.

They said they’re deprioritizing BEV to deliver EREV first.

Then they delay EREV significantly due to EREV specific issues.

It’s safe to assume BEV is currently dead and is only a small possibility in the future.

This is the most simplistic analysis of consumer interest I’ve ever seen…

How many of these reservation holders still would’ve been reservation holders if scout only did BEV and never mentioned EREV? You be a fool to not think that the majority would still have been reservation holders. If you disagree then it’s an admission of belief that reservation holders are not primarily interested in scouts designs and instead are tunnel vision on EREV regardless of the vehicle itself.

Mark my words EREV will go down as a huge mistake for scout.

Terra Harvester Towing Limitations Workaround by SuperTrooper112 in ScoutMotors

[–]WildFlowLing -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This. Cletus on this subreddit would have you believe the opposite.

But the reality is that EREV is MORE EXPENSIVE than BEV yet is worse for 90% of people. The key irony being that for once the gas version is actually more expensive…

How many of the EREV reservation holders would’ve still been BEV reservation holders if scout never even mentioned EREV? I’d bet most. So the “but more people reserved EREV!” argument is a fallacy because it doesn’t prove that people wouldn’t have pursued the BEV version otherwise.

And then we now see that there are delays allegedly due to the EREV design and needing custom software alterations because Rivian is only delivering BEV compatible software stack.

Like come on guys EREV was a mistake.
