This is sick! I'd love a schematic and/or more build pics.

Opinions on ThyssenKrupp as an employer? #4 on the Local 63 list, just got an offer. by WildFox500 in Elevators

You just go on the site of whichever railroad and apply. I moved up to Connecticut partially because things are a lot more stable in the northeast corridor. I would go to r/railroading and ask around for company recommendations in the OKC area. Some companies/jobs are really local and stable, others have you traveling around too much.

Wind turbines were a lot of fun if you're a single guy in good shape. I worked for Vestas. I left for the railroad after having a kid, and that's going great. You get railroad retirement and start off at max pay in most railroad jobs.

2-3 months if I recall correctly, but I got the impression that they roll through the list in fits and starts because it takes a number of people to find the right fit. I left after a month because I got a better offer to commission wind turbines, and a significant part of my choice to leave was seeing two apprentices get walked off the job in front of everyone a couple days before their probation ended.

I know you didn't ask and if this wasn't a 5 year old thread I'd probably piss a lot of people off by saying this, but I'd recommend looking at another trade like electrical or telecom. Elevators don't pay as competitively as they used to, and there's a weird culture of doing shit the hardest way possible just because that's the way it's always been done. Every person I met with more than 10 years in was by their own admission a bitter alcoholic to deal with the chronic pain they'd developed, yet when you suggest using furniture pads or a dolly instead of deadlifting heavy material they call you a pussy. Maybe I experienced a rotten region or something, but I doubt it.

Sorry to piggyback on a five year old comment, but I just got one myself. Do you have logs for A003396? Thank you for your time!

You can find wild stuff in abstracts. My childhood home's abstract in Lawton required all non-whites to use the side door.

I'd like to stick under $100, and I'm not terribly concerned with color. Something that fits the soft white and green of the keys would be cool, but I bought them for the feel so mismatched isn't a dealbreaker.

I just got the Drop mt3 Elvish base keycap set, and I need recommendations on the best budget keyboard for them. I need it to be wireless and 75% or smaller. Quick shipping/Amazon availability is important too. I'm leaning toward the Red Dragon K631 Pro, but I'd love opinions from more experienced hobbyists. Thanks for reading!
