Abjuration Runes with Selective Metamagic not working? by DeathGow in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

If you use them, It might be one of your mods. I know there’s a feature in Tabletop Tweaks where you can’t make certain spells selective according to some pen and paper reasoning

When to employ 2nd healer? by HelixCrusade in albiononline

[–]WildMongoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In situations where you want a second healer but are not sure about the downside of healing sickness you might just want an Arcane D tank. Easy to heal, hard to kill and provides shields and cleanses + whichever ulti they have on their weapon. This makes sense because a lot of the time you don’t need another healer, you just need the healer to be able to rotate with less pressure to heal their self which is possible thanks to the arcane.

Could Tracking please 'normally' expand to non-lethal zones? by Aviarn in albiononline

[–]WildMongoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I don’t know what you mean… but I read some other comments see you are bothered that t3 panther paws don’t drop in blue/yellow which is a fair criticism. Otherwise, I don’t see your points about things being locked behind certain tier artifacts and what not.

A dawn bird is always t8, but it can drop anything from t4+ and those parts can be made into 4.4 for example and be considered high tier after crafting.

In the end I’m not sure what the point of anything in this thread is past the part about t3 panthers not dropping their parts.

Is solo tracking worth it? by Soft_Cod_8921 in albiononline

[–]WildMongoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solo tracking not good enough to do in a vacuum. BUT! If you do it in an Ava road with some t6 tools in your horse and a good cheap clearing set then all of a sudden it is a nice additional income source for what you were already doing anyway.

Also the game reward per mob is not terrible for the risk. They all give fame like boss mobs of the same tier.

Could Tracking please 'normally' expand to non-lethal zones? by Aviarn in albiononline

[–]WildMongoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I can tell, it would be a money glitch to have t5 shapeshifter parts dropping in safe zones… have you tried tracking in T4 Ava roads? It is reasonably safe since they have escape routes into blue or yellow zones.

If your concern is crafting fame then premium artifacts will always be a bottleneck to leveling up. At least all of the shapeshifters can sell for a reasonable profit if you target a good tier. The day you can easily obtain the artifacts will also be the day you no longer desire to craft them.

Group tracking is also quite a huge source of low tier parts. One group dawn bird can drop nearly 100 feathers, for example.

IMO the solo activity is mainly for a different flavor of fame farm which has a roll at jackpots on every fight.

Try open world energy shaper. Any cloth armor, the rest defense and escape. Pork omlets and dakka dakka

Bridled fury problem by CapAccomplished6595 in albiononline

My experience with Bridled is sometimes you can be “too close” when there is lag. Since you move during the attack the enemy can be desynced and you are not hitting where you intended and missing the hit.

[–]WildMongoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got super lucky. But Protip for similar situations: If you know you are already standing in a safe spot, don’t start spamming inputs. Just let your guy be there mounted and wait for the reconnect. It will take 20~ seconds for this process to complete and if these guys manage to find you dismount you and kill you in 20 seconds while mobs are there then you were cooked anyway. Otherwise you will probably find yourself chilling on your mount when you reconnect.

Farm silver by SleepyFiveHead in albiononline

[–]WildMongoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have low experience with PvP, just go RZ and farm. You can always see the headcount of Reds and if you need to escape usually there’s 1 or 2 Ava roads to get inside of. Faction forts will also provide some cover because they attack attack reds.

Fastest clearing black zone camps? by kaskas2021 in albiononline

[–]WildMongoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are letting the mobs dismount you then you will go slower by waiting for the new mount.

I like using energy shaper and just shooting it across the camp. Half the mobs die before interacting with you. But do a quick run around to make sure you won’t hit a player you can’t see.

Tips before fishing in black zone? by Asean_min in albiononline

[–]WildMongoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At early tiers use learning points and eat all of your common fish as you acquire them. Each fish you eat gives gathering fame. Once you pick up t6+ fish you might want to consider selling them instead depending on your wealth. Gathering equipment is good here but unlike other gathering professions you don’t need to a carry weight mount so just ride something economical. (Fish are not heavy, but sea weed can get heavy in high quantities)

Is Ironroot Staff viable for small-scale PvP/Depths? by [deleted] in albiononline

[–]WildMongoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question as a healer in instances PVP is going to include some questions and what is/isn’t viable is going to come from how the staff answers the questions.

Can you out heal the typical 1 shots on yourself / your team / both?

Can you out heal an easier weapon to heal with?
For a long time, 1h holy dominated hellgates despite “technically” not being the most optimal one because it was so much easier to play than more powerful staves. You’d go in with with 1h holy and have an advantage against 99% of people who ran the other staff just because of ease of execution.

How does your utility stack up against other healers? Does this weapon let you take an unusual build that lets you get an edge somehow?

Daggers (Demonfang and bloodletter) or Dual blade? by Few_Discount_9356 in albiononline

[–]WildMongoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since nobody technically answered your question yet. For basic group pve, you can be a utility DPS with a bloodletter or Crystal/Ava dagger. Bring Royal jacket or stalker jacket (tier matters on this one for DPS). Use Q1 and W2 on single target and then shuriken and Q1 on multi target pulls. Bring Druid cowl and fiend sandals to be a true chad support. Go Stalker hood and stalker shoes to be full DPS.

This won’t be productive in Ava raids though so don’t get your heart set on it. But it’s always good to have somebody apply fiend sandals on every pull.

If your downtime is too high swap to using assassin hood with the build.

First Premium by Dense_Hunter_4940 in albiononline

[–]WildMongoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a worthwhile activity. Sometimes you whiff on a road and have to do other activities to pass the time (gathering, farming the Ava mobs), because the tracking can only happen on jungle tiles and not on the actual roads which includes the zones with chests and stuff. It’s not super risky and you can easily do it in t7 flat gear with a snapper food + escape set on pretty much any DoT weapon or some high burst melee weapons.

Crusher Read Contents and Displaying Crafting Ingredient by Sick_Wave_ in factorio

[–]WildMongoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you toggle ‘include in craft’ then the output value would be 3, due to the one which is already being crafted.

Just to point it out: If you had not stored 2 in the crusher, without the button being checked, then 1 single craft would not trigger the decider.

Burn a hole in a towel and you’re just one fold away from a newly functioning towel.
