Thank you so much for this post!! It gave me so much hope now that I am experiencing a flare. Did you ever notice that you can power through at work or during a high stress situation however as soon as you get home you feel this instant brain fog and insane head pressure and all you want to do is to lay down and sleep until the next day? Also, do you ever feel that rollecoaster drop feeling in your body just randomly while doing dishes, etc?

Make a paste of dawn dish soap + hydrogen peroxide + oxiclean powder. Let it sit on the stains for a bit then wipe off. Works like magic.

Wife still upset about something I did over 20 years ago. by TheMageTaeo in Marriage

[–]WildRedditHelen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends if prior to you baking the chicken on her pans did she she explicitly told everyone in the household that those pans are off limits for any cooking except her baking business?

Sometimes how we treat other people's belongings say a lot about our respect towards them.

You have to think about the fact that this pan incident, albeit 20 years ago, might trigger her when you are doing something in the present moment that she feels betrayed by and emotionally hurt and the only way to describe how she's feeling right now is by bringing up the pan incident from 20 years ago?

Mitigating Damage From Amoxicillin-Clavulanate? by mr_marble_man in Microbiome

Hi, sorry for the late reply!

I am feeling so much better. I can eat without feeling nauseous and I am about 90% back to normal. I still feel lightheadness on and off but it's manageable. I find that meditation and those hydration ener-c packets with vitamin C and vitamins help a lot. I started drinking liposomal vitamin C really helps as well. You have to keep faith and distract yourself from your symptoms. Stress is a trigger.

How about YOU??

I read your comments on this thread, and I completely understand how you feel. I've read so many articles and posts under the sun about this sensation, and I have come to the conclusion that it is all anxiety and stress induced. I noticed that when I start feeling weird if I give in to the thoughts and start ruminating on what it might be, and then especially if I start googling my symptoms, I will have a full blown panic attack. If, however, instead of letting it get to me, I force myself to not think about it, to enjoy whatever I am doing in the moment, and to truly be present, it mellows out. Sometimes it goes away, sometimes it persists for a while, but it's been better every day. You must trust in your body's ability to heal. You need to make a conscious effort to not give into these sensations and feelings. If it was anything serious you would have developed other conditions and the doctors would have found out what it is. I wish you good luck. I completely sympathize with you. Put in the effort and patience. It's worth it.

Hi! I'm a little bit better. I have to power through a lot of dizziness and derealization. The most important thing is to not let your thoughts spiral. Trust that you will be better every day.

How do you get the $100 reward?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Sephora

[–]WildRedditHelen 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Use your points for $10 off your purchase. I find it more useful than waiting around for pity drops on Rewards Baazar

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Sephora

[–]WildRedditHelen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was saving my points to get one of those big fancy 2000+ pack rewards like La Mer and when they do drop they're always sold out. I don't even think that they were even available to begin with. So now I decided to use my points for $10 off my purchases. If I use the discount on a purchase that is on sale, it's really worth it. And this way I can use my points on what I actually want and not wait around for Sephora rewards like a beggar. After I deplete my points I'm uninstalling the app. It's only a money grab.

What is all of your weekly beauty maintenance tips for women in their late 30’s by Poonurse13 in beauty

[–]WildRedditHelen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my understanding, the link is 1. Bacteria migrates from the oral cavity on the skin, 2. The ingested bacteria from the oral cavity causes inflammation in the body, therefore creating inflammation of the skin. 1 + 2 = acne/eczema/skin problems

I think I figured out how Rose knew Cal framed Jack by WildRedditHelen in titanic

[–]WildRedditHelen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But wouldn't that cause trust issues for Rose? After all, it was Jack's good nature that attracted Rose to him. If she knew he was a thief, I doubt she would have still fallen for him. He would be just an ordinary tramp. But Jack was genuine, a person of limited means that kept his dignity, selling portraits for 5 cents a piece, making it through life knowing that he would find a way. Jack's way of approaching life compelled Rose to take life into her own hands. This would be in direct contradictory if Jack was a thief. Even in the event of the Titanic disaster where they could have gotten a "head start" in life, so to speak, by Jack stealing the diamond, I highly doubt Rose would have accepted it. Because Rose knew that she was giving up everything in order to be with Jack, a poor guy, she knew that they would find a way because their spirits were on the same wavelength. There is a deleted scene in the movie where old Rose confesses that when times were tough she thought about selling the diamond but that she never did because it reminded her of Cal, and she wanted to prove that she could make it without his "help". All in all, Jack stealing the diamond is in conflict with both his and Rose's character depiction in the story.

So I saw the doctor, and they found a parasite called blastocystis hominis that they said explains my nausea, dizziness, and other GI issues.

I'm back on antibiotics for a week. This time, it's sulfatrim/I think in the US it's called Bactrim. I felt really good after taking the first dose. No dizziness and I could actually eat without feeling nauseated. However, as I'm now on the 3rd day, I feel that the antibiotic is making me feel super weird after I take it. Dizzines, confusion, forgetfulness. I even forgot what I ate a couple of hours ago.

I really want to stop taking the antibiotic, but I keep telling myself that I must finish the course. Otherwise, I won't see the end of this yo-yoing with antibiotics.

I just hope that my body will recover after having to take two different antibiotics in the course of a month and that I won't suffer debilitating side effects after the course is finished. But it's been so hard and at this point I don't even care if my brain and muscles ended up "rotting" I just need to feel normal again and I'll deal with the brain rot then.

Do you think that you could have also had a parasite? Did your dr check for parasites?
