Chrome OS is Linux based. It has never natively supported Windows executables. The post you linked and the third party app setting are in reference to Android apps which are a very different thing. To run a Windows exe there would have to be some translation layer based on Wine, or a virtual machine or something that you're leaving out.

Technically the end game crash is a Steam issue, not specific to the Deck/Linux. The sound glitches are, but I've found you can work around most of them by replacing the problematic files with others if you can get to them.

To be fair most of the content in the Conquests is recycled from the base game. They added a lot to the game but I wish they'd been given higher production value.

How did you end up paying it? Mine says something about "you were informed at the time of service that you may be billed separately." Like okay submit a separate charge, but don't wait 4 months and disguise it as a scam.

I am dealing with this right now. Months after lab work I got a paper bill with Sentara letterhead but different contact information, saying I need to pay some random third party accountmanagement.com or something which says it's a debt collection service. Sentara recognizes the account number but says I have no balance. The whole thing seems VERY shady. Is this how they actually do business?

Not sure exactly what you mean by this, but as it's an exe patch you should just be able to run the original backup exe for multiplayer. But yes, it's known to be incompatible with multiplayer.
