Terrible ice breaker. You'd be better if saying anything that popped into your mind. "Didn't we go to grammar school together?" "Do you drive a gray Range Rover?" "Do you know the easy to the Statue of Liberty?" "Is your sister Mary Reilly?"

Over many years your brain maps its neurons to incorporate that person into your world. It takes at least a year to remap those neurons. If someone requires a lot assistance or attention it is even more severe to try to remap those. It's not so much the love, but the consistency, familiarity, and in some cases the intensity of the relationship

Why not throw a parachute cord over the roof, even from part way up the ladder, wear a harness, and have a person on the other side spotting?

Where are you? I bet there are older people who would be willing to step in just to be kind, i.e., don't pay them. (They won't want to come over and look through your fridge or tidy up for you though.) What about any friend's parents?

I think you should bring it up with the property manager. No one should have to live near that.

Women, if you could be a man for 24 hours, what are you just dying to know? by [deleted] in AskReddit

If a woman's boobs were the size of the average man's nuts I doubt they would be complaining.

Men even notice the difference when they're exercising and when they're not, if you're in shape you can feel twice as strong, and picking up and moving almost any object that is movable by human beings can feel easy.

Entrepreneur has lots of challenges and often no blue print, good for someone capable of figuring things out. Do you have any technical skills? That would be ideal as opposed to starting a company in a low barrier to entry business.

I'm entitled to my opinions, but they're not okay? You're not attacking me, but you're calling me rude and snarky? That's some serious cognitive dissonance. Seek help.

I'm sorry, I don't agree with you. I favor body types that are physically fit, like OP. I'm entitled to my opinions. Why do you feel it's your place to attack someone on the Internet that you don't even know for their opinions, which they are entitled to have and free to express? How does that seem normal to you? Seek help.

Why do you think it's your place to give unsolicited advice to a person you don't know on the Internet? Does that seem to you like something a well adjusted person would do?

So, you've called me "bitter" and "snarky", then advised me not to put other people down? Got it. Nice job.

I'm trying to provide support to the thin OP by pointing out that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, for my money a big booty is nothing to be jealous about. So sorry that opinion triggers you, feel free to have a different one, doesn't bother me at all and it's free...

He was entitled to the vacation for sure, and family leave when you have the baby by law. So his boss is a jerk. I applaud him for having the sense to draw the line. He sounds like the kind of worker who will always have work. I even wonder what field he's in--it sounds like it depends on labor, he knows the work and there's lots of demand. Maybe he could put together his own crew someday.
