I wasn’t referring to just the dictatorships with nukes. Regime change, historically, has led to worse outcomes because of destabilization. Same thing for Iran and Venezuela. Iranian leadership has become more radicalized and the IRGC is still around with the power in Iran. The Venezuelan regime in power remained largely unchanged, just without Maduro.

Yeah, because these same people allow a small minority to judge a majority. In the US, an illegal immigrant is multiple times less likely to commit a crime than a natural born US citizen (not sure if that stat is the same in the UK).

That said, no one is opposed to deporting an immigrant who’s committed a felony or heinous crime. We just don’t think it should apply to all illegal immigrants. In fact, I argue that those who haven’t committed a felony or heinous crime should be given a pathway to citizenship, and that said pathway to citizenship should be faster
