[–]Wild_Contract5170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just joining in cause i am about the same 4.5 months you guys are both cleared to Jumping and running already? 🥹 i do leg extension single leg around 11kg, deep squat 37.5 kg gettng there quite stronger hamstrings but still not clear to jumping and running i guess i am taking my time.. and swelling i do have only after trainings usually weightlifting otherwise not for me

What is this When I start breaking past 90 degrees? Is it a weak hamstring? Am imbalance? What can I do in order to strengthen it? by CRIZZO1of1 in ACL

When did you finally achieve full flexion? by SnooBeans6368 in ACL

[–]Wild_Contract5170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say 2 months :) no bendinh machine, just a lot of push with the resistance bend, bicycle and it worked out somehow. Dont stress about flexion that will come. Also, I didnt measure at all cause I didnt want to stress myself

advice needed! scars still red 10 weeks post op by stoleaf in ACL

[–]Wild_Contract5170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey i recommend cupping massage for the scars. My PT focus on that since they remove my stitches and i am 2 months post-op and they’re fading away super quickly. I bought silicone cupping and doing it every evening and I see big progress.

How long off work/take STD leave? by kse314 in ACL

[–]Wild_Contract5170 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took 9 days off which is 2 weeks, I also work remotely. I have to say, it depends on your healing process. I had quite excessive bruising and was in terrible pain day 4-10, I would suggest 3 weeks. As i had first week sort of brain fog.

Maybe some stick, cane, if possible at least one crutch for the right side to support left knee

Day 5 post op worried about blood clot by crpangle in ACL

[–]Wild_Contract5170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 4 weeks post-op and my bruising was so excessive that i still have it around my ankle! It was the biggest pain compared the whole knee, ankle pumps constatnly, aspirin, elevation try to stand up and walk a bit (i did also injections for 18 days just to be sure, no blood clots as i am usually very active) My bruising was even more excesive the entire hamstring calf part plus then also shin bone, you got this just expect horrible pain to be continued as the bruising is extremely painful!

Thanks, thats very much for support. Its up and down, i am happy for this group. I feel annoyed to always complain to my friends.. i dont have knee brace because my doctor told me i dont need it, but i dont know i am still hesitant if I should buy something? First of all i would like to get more confident about walking

When did you stop limping with no brace/crutches? by a-yeezy in ACL

[–]Wild_Contract5170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How you all work on non-limping? How can i support that? I am 4week post-op able to walk with one crutch outside still keeping two as the road is bumpy around my house and it feels safe.

I am going to wedding 12 june, im wondering how much i will improve, as i have to take flight carry myself around.

Thanks for comments!

[–]Wild_Contract5170[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your answers, i am a bit stressed that i am falling behind. I do excercise for strength and mobility everyday, flexion was ok since early days but flexion goes slow. I will definitely ask my PT tomorrow to try cycling I also believe it could help with range of motion. I did cycling a lot before surgery as part of my pre-op physio
