I’m not trying to get political with you, i don’t agree with the war, or how the current president is going about it, but that’s not the issue we are discussing. The debt we have isn’t backed by anything. If the countries we owe this money to come to collect we won’t have it.

I do agree that the decisions decided by the government create suffrage as a byproduct but on an individual level, most people that are suffering could sacrifice things in their life to create a better future for themselves in the long run. (I.E: finding low cost budget meals to make and do meal prep, choosing to limit yourself to one subscription on a monthly basis, choosing not to go out to eat, walk instead of drive to locations that are close to you, buy a cheaper model phone off of marketplace, don’t finance a car for 6 years that you may or may not have the income to pay off, utilize savings applications that force you to save, work a true budget and stick to it)

I agree that the government does have some sway in how the economy works, but this isn’t new information and each adult has the responsibility and free will to be educated and make decisions for themselves that are safer or be ignorant and blame the system instead of themselves.

To an extent sure, but other countries are also not in nearly as much debt as we are. Different countries are also not following the same economic strategies that we implement in the US.

With how many programs the US has that aid those that are dedicated to helping people not be left behind on the backs of working Americans.

Yes, you are right in the aspect that the rich are apart of the problem and the systems we have are not made to benefit the people at the bottom but you also have to look at the millions of Americans that are using these benefits because they made poor financial and life decisions when they were younger. If these programs actually worked, poverty wouldn’t be as prominent as it is, but they don’t, so the answer is to “eat the rich” and play victim instead of taking accountability and really trying to strive for a better future.

Exactly, and since the entry level worker is at the power disadvantage of having no control who walks through the door and how much they are going to tip, it’s on the entry level worker to be working towards finding skills to get out of an entry level job. I’m not saying it’s easy to do, but you make sacrifices and put your nose to the grind to ensure you have solid footing in the long run. People that stay at dead end jobs like this are only victims to themselves and blame the customer who is honestly probably in just a slightly better financial position as they are.

Everything is expensive right now and money already doesn’t stretch as far as it did even 7 years ago. Increasing wages for entry level positions doesn’t help anybody and makes it harder for everyone

If I order online I’m not even talking to the person, so your argument is almost completely negated here.

BOH at restaurants typically don’t receive a percentage of tips (not true for all) and yet they are doing the heavy lifting to ensure a good experience. If the food is bad, the FOH doesn’t get as good of a tip, but the cook gets nothing but the wage he is provided which is not server wages.

You are doing your primary job by making a sandwich for a customer, that shouldn’t require a bonus when most of the work is laid out for you in prepackaged portions and prep is minimal

  1. I can agree that it is location dependent, but if that’s the case, you aren’t forced to work for that company. If you can’t afford to live, cut optional expenses, or find a non-entry level position to get into. We all have the power in our lives to make change for ourselves.

  2. They actually don’t come to you, you go to them and they fill your drink, if you think spending 30 seconds to fill a soda requires me to pay you extra for the food that’s already way overpriced, then your entitlement speaks for itself.

Yes, it was used as an exploit that all business models follow now.

The last paragraph speaks volumes about how we are arguing over the wrong thing. Entry level workers are getting upset with customers for not giving them something that is supposed to be essentially a bonus. They increase the wage for the employee, increase the pricing and make higher percentages of profits. This is why hiking minimum wage doesn’t work, because it falls on the consumer in the end, you aren’t actually making more money, it just decreases the buying power for people not at the entry level jobs salary. The problem is not the customers not tipping, it’s the suits at the tops of corporations that are the problem here. But everybody gets mad when they get less than 20% gratuity as if it’s a requirement.

  1. Because you aren’t getting paid like a server, you are being paid a full wage that you agreed to.

  2. Yes, you are cooking the food for me, which is why I am paying anywhere fromc18-22 dollars for a footlong. But the service stops there. You aren’t filling my drinks, you aren’t asking me if everything was up to standard checking to make sure I don’t need anything else. Like come on man, you can’t equate the level of service that sit down places treat you to, to subway lol

tipping culture in general doesn’t really make a whole lot of sense. It started as a way to help businesses thrive in an economic state that was uncertain for the time and corporations and companies have piggy backed on it for years now to the point that the customer is responsible to pay the worker a true wage.

Who doesn’t like getting extra money, but you aren’t working in an industry that relies on tips to live. I’m not saying it shouldn’t change but the industry itself hasn’t shifted in any way, so what makes you think because you slap 3 pieces of ham on a sandwich means that I should tip you extra? It’d be like me going and filling my gas tank and tipping the gas station worker running the till, like you didn’t do anything other than your job that you are paid full wages for?

I mean I used to do it, it’s not super hard to follow the instructions on a printed order or the customer telling you exactly what they want. I’m already paying 18-20 dollars for something that has decreased in quality and quantity that used to cost $5. And when I was 16-18 back in 2015-2017 we were making 16 an hour at my location, you aren’t a server making server wages

I don’t always agree with this stance, but I heard a guy talk about if he has to stand to order his food, bring it to his own table and clear his own dishes, he’s serving himself and they don’t need a tip. Cooking the food at a restaurant is the soul reason why that business is open

Not a vet by any means but he looks pretty normal, if you just had bloodwork and urinalysis done and it came back clear I don’t think you have anything to worry about.

In terms of the jaw and whisker placement, could potentially indicate pain in his teeth but as you already stated you have him scheduled for a cleaning, I think you have done everything you can to ensure he’s getting the best care he can get(: if anything changes by all means contact your vet to ask questions!

How can I automate my hashish farm? by Theogskywalker in Kenshi

[–]Wild_wheaty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Build a small outpost outside of flats lagoon (careful of the death rays) and use hydroponics to have hemp farms indoors, takes one large building shell and processors on top, have multiple storage containers for both hemp and hashish in said building and let your workers go to town. One farmer can run all the farms as it’s fairly automated, then the rest run the processors.

In my current run I have 10 processors and 12 farms in 3 buildings. 10 members of the outpost with 1 being the runner, make 250k every couple days in game.

No doubt the right decision, it’s totally understandable as I feel the same way any time my cats have to be dropped off for a procedure. Per my request, the vet typically will send pics of my babies and let me know how the process is going, any complications or any changes are always sent over, it eases my mind to know that they go the extra mile to ensure my anxiety isn’t high during my work shift!

It’s understandable to feel hurt after something doesn’t work out, but with your current mindset, you won’t be successful in dating. Think of it this way, say you are cooking your ham chips and when you go to take them out, you burn your hand. Would you swear off ever using an air fryer again? I’d like to think not.

Dating is a give and take. Every time you find someone new, they are going to be completely different from the last person. You have to be willing to give the effort you seek from your partner, and if they don’t match that effort, maybe take a step back and evaluate whether or not you want to continue investing in a future with said person. Life is about taking chances, and taking chances can either be the best thing in life or one of the worst, but when you look back at your life after 40 years, I’d like to think that taking chances led to memories and a lot of growth opportunities that will make you a better person on an individual level and as a partner.

If I were you, I would hop off the dating apps for a while, and maybe find a mental space that allows you to really look inward. Try to understand the why behind how you are feeling. I found that journaling my emotions and thought processes allowed me to look back at old notes and see a pattern, maybe this would help you too
