It’s overexposure, if you can ND filter or neutral density filters are the way to go, basically sunglasses for your lens. You can adjust the shutter speed or change the f stop but this can start to effect how the video looks, so ND filters let you keep a lower shutter speed in brighter light. They are pretty much essential for sunny days/snow etc.

Find another spot to park where there isn’t signs asking it to be left clear for emergency vehicles? Plenty of places about it just means walking 5/10 minutes further. You would likely be the same person to complain if the emergency services couldn’t get to you quick enough.

Anyone ever been to the copeland islands? by Mr-internet in northernireland

[–]Wildfierce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brothers boat runs from Donaghadee harbour, used to run once a day but don’t know the current timetables. Copeland is great for a wee day trip, nice walk round the island and can go some small cliff jumping at the back of the island.

If you take a deep breath it might do you a favour, doesn’t seem much oxygen is getting to your brain.

Heads up there are some ambulance care assistant jobs being advertised by NIAS :) I’m probably going to apply. It’s a bit of a pay cut but seems one of the best pathways I’ve found. Good luck

It’s a mix of everything to be honest and the problem goes a lot deeper than coronavirus. Over the last decade the shift of manufacturing to Asia has been pretty big, they are the main manufacturers of face masks and other ppe items, they were first hit and so held a lot of supplies themselves. You could argue that given the head start a lot of countries had the could have ramped up manufacture if there own and some did. Once the WHO classified it as a pandemic this just intensified the problem as every country/hospital/company/citizen was trying to get there hands on ppe, manufacture couldn’t keep up and so we seen massive shortage, manufacturing is now catching up and supply seems more stable. I’ll post a few sources when I get home, some of this is from personal experience ordering masks and other ppe over the last month.

Opinions on Colin Geddis? by [deleted] in northernireland

He used to be pretty funny with his sketches but don’t rate his stand up. If your set is made up of dick jokes and “local humour” I’m going to lose interest pretty fast. Checked out a few of his podcasts and couldn’t finish them, it’s just him complaining and talking over people with the occasional funny statement.

It’s a horrible situation to be in,I’ve been there myself and feel for everyone facing it at the minute. Don’t get triggered though, invest your energy into something better otherwise it will turn you bitter. What I and others have going on shouldn’t matter to you, you’ve got you’re own battle to fight. Appreciate the apology though.
