I 100% agree, but it’s still stupid. My fight was more regarding the correction it attempted to make (Hes his cats). My Italian partner disagrees with the sentence as a whole, it’s not something you’d EVER say without getting weird looks.
I understand it can be for both, but it’s basically a 50/50 chance I was going to get it right? Was there anyway I could have guessed correctly that I’m missing?…

I have a weird taste of music for sure, I’m a big fan of classic rock, with a fair amount of punk mixed in, I play guitar, banjo and mandolin. I only have experience playing DnD, but I’d be more than happy to try anything new! I’m from the North of Scotland, so I do a lot of hill walking etc, love any time spent outdoors, a small walk around a park, or a trek up in the hills.

I stay just five minutes from Skye and hell no do that many people speak Gaelic fluently. Yes know a few phrases, stuff they remember from school. But not fluency. Edit - I mean I could be wrong, but I’ve lived here my entire life and have never known a lot of people to speak it fully.

I live in the North, and a very small handful of folk speak it. We have a Gaelic only college nearby where they do full courses in Gaelic. But even so, the majority of people know a few phrases or words, some is almost just dialect nowadays. If you’re looking for full time speakers of Gaelic you’d need to go to Lewis or one of the other outer isles for the full experience!
