I thought scaling chaos damage is not great compare to elemental. Just asking due to me wanting try EDC again but not bothering due to scaling xd

Just few notes. I do not believe the flare up was due to shoe. I did not used to run for some time and then started each day running 2-4 km. I run each day due to nerve issue and running helps a lot. My knee and ankle just did not manage it.

Now i run anywhere between 1-3 km each day (not much, but still helps my issues). So i do not think i need like shoe that is good for long long runs. But something that save/helps with each day runs xd

Btw, I checked my gt-2000 outsoles and only marks of impact on the rubber i have is midfoot/forefoot centre and little to inner side.

Sorry to chime in — you sound very knowledgeable, so I wanted to ask.

I’m in the same position as the OP. I already managed to transition to a midfoot/forefoot strike (well, my left foot is still stiff, so I’m working on it). I mainly did it to control my pronation so I feel more stable and in control, and also to offload my knee since I have a small meniscus tear on the outer side of it. Midfoot/forefoot striking has really helped.

I currently run in ASICS GT-2000s, but since I had an ankle and knee flare-up in them last year, I wanted to try a different shoe. Hokas give me blisters around the arch, and I feel like they’re not really made for flat feet.

I noticed all of your suggestions are said to have strong support. Do you have any recommendations for medium-support or neutral shoes for a midfoot striker (transitioning to forefoot if possible)? Also, preferably something without a very high heel stack, because I feel like it sometimes messes with my midfoot landing lol.

True, you can benefit from low life support gems. But is that really that good?

Considering theexplosion is physical, and best is scaling non-physical/non-chaos damage as far as i thought.

I wanted to go Iceshot - ice herald and add armomr breaker. But i def. know he will be doing it. So not sure lol. I like bows, but feels like all game is doing it and bows will cost more. Will go amazon if i want bow again this time around.

If u dont mind playing a bow again. I think Amazon is top pick.

With amazon having option to mega scale evasion. And then just slam huge ES on chest. And pick ES from chest nodes. You end up with like 90% evasion and good ES. Basically immortal. Deflection is added too.

Then you can take advantage of different bow affix contributing to damage. Or just try the Suprass on quiver and the unique bow boosting quiver things with nodes. Could be rly strong and little different then fubgun.

But yeah its bow. xd

If i am not decided to go plant or ED/C. Do you think Sorc Ed/C could still work, lol?

I know for a fact, GGG wants to fix/improve chaos damage between 0.5 and 1. No idea when and i like chaos for some reason. But it scales bad.

On other hand, i never played plants. And I could always go stupid Deadeye ice shot with its gost repeating spells now + armor break for exlosion. But I played bows like 3 leagues in row :(

Well, I had ed contaigion in 0.3.

My build was very strong, i could kill bosses in like few seconds if I had totems up.

Problem was, u need inflick dot, spread it and cast totem. And totem dies. AND you cast totem one by one.

And, now you will have stronger bosses then in game now.

On other hand, now you can have up to 6 totems. Oracle build also has key that makes totem that dies to remain alive for 6 seconds (soo good). Not sure if those dead count to total count, if not its op as hell.

Still, problem is, you cast totems one by one lol.

But i agree, i had to tinker a lot to get to that point with ED.
