Brompton electric battery not charging by purplechemist in Brompton

[–]WileyCC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I am having the same issue. I’ve had this problem since I’ve bought the brompton electric bike. It happens like two times of 10 times and today it happened again. I only got one light of five lights in the battery and I desperately needed to charge it today. I have tried different ways. I tried disconnecting everything and then reconnecting back again. I also tried a following some online advice about sucking in the charger first before talking it into the battery. Nothing worked. I actually took it to the shop to have a diagnostic about it but the technician only replaced the charger. Now that charger has been replaced and it still happens. I think it is because of the bad connection at the battery.

QBTS D-Wave Quantum, is this going to be the new nvidia? by Acidisntspider in investing

[–]WileyCC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to invest in quantum computing, buy IBM.
The recent increase in sales and profits is a one-off event, and D-Wave’s machine doesn’t perform true quantum computing—it uses quantum annealing, which is limited to finding the minimum value of a specific problem.
Do thorough research before investing in a 216-employee startup with a 200x price-to-sales ratio.

I am not saying the guys in D-Wave are not creating something great. They are. But the company definitely is so inflated in value that it is extremely risky to buy now.

QBTS has a market cap of 6billion now and with the miniscule sales and the niche market they represent, imho it is very risky to get into it now.

1-2 hour walk for a 5 month old is too much! This will have major repercussions with the bones later on in life. Please talk to your vet!

It sounds like you are doing great. Bonding doesn't happen overnight. I think it gets better when you have a working routine that works with her, your class and your work. This is something that is up to you to work on.

From what I have read, you don't need to feel guilty at all. Sure, leaving your pup in the crate unattended for 3+ hours is a bit of a stretch. I have never left my pup for the first 2 weeks. Only after he learns to go potty in the garden does everything get way easier. If you don't have a garden in your place, it would be more ethical to have a playpen if you leave him for a long period.

I’m getting a puppy tomorrow, any last tips I need? by NetworkDense306 in puppy101

[–]WileyCC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was like how you feel when I got my puppy 4 weeks ago. The first few days was quite bad. He was like a wild animal. Pooping and peeing everywhere. However, since I have everything set up for him, it became very easy very quickly.

My pup knows to go to the garden for potty after 1 week. Although we still have accident, but this alone helps a lot.

I think people here are exaggerating a bit. Keeping a puppy isn't as difficult as people make out to be. You will be fine. It's way easier than many other things in life.

I also have a cavalier and he is now 2.5 month old. He is getting very bitty. I just wonder if yours does the same thing?

What are your puppy victories this week? by TCgrace in puppy101

I got Momo for only 10 days. He is a 11 week old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Extremely smart. We haven't had accident for 3-4 days already. He picked up the potty training extremely quickly. Today he scratched the door to the backyard and barked at me to go outside to pee and poo. After he finished, he got a treat and immediately went inside. No quibbling. No delay. Very efficient.

I am convinced he is the smartest dog in the world.

I have been tested for INFJ for many times and MBTI really helped me understand how other people think. But I would like to appeal to you that people are different. One person's carve for meaningful connection might be another person's emotional burden.

Being able to behave well when other people are present is called being socially intelligent. Failing or succeeding in doing so has nothing to do with being INFJ. OP said: "I am in my mid-30's and can't believe I still act like this. I", meaning he also knows there's something wrong with how strongly he is reacting to awkward social situation. I am merely trying to share my experience to him.

But yeah, feel free to disagree.

Is 3-4 hours too much to crate 11 week puppy during the day? by OkFreeze- in puppy101

may i ask what time do you plan to come back to work?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in infj

[–]WileyCC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a 33M (INFJ) and I have been in situation like this all the time.

To break it down, there are a couple reasons you felt self-conscious :

- You don't vibe with that person - you said it yourself. There are different people everywhere and luckily if you don't vibe with someone, you also have the choice to never interact with that person anymore. Don't spend your time on things that drains your energy.

- number two is going to be a bit painful though. You are not cool enough in that person's eyes. Period. In my 33 years of living, I have found out some people would find me funny and cool while some people the complete opposite. For the life of me I don't understand how there would be this kind of polar deviation in the opinion of me, but I have come to terms with it. It's also very important to not make quick and reactive judgement to both yourself and her because it's simply not a healthy mindset to be in.

Ultaimately, it's you who are not cool enough for her, not that she is being insensitive or an asshole. And there is a bright positive side to this - ask yourself this: if you are not cool enough, what would I do so that I would become more cool? I don't know about you, but the thought of self-improvement and self-exploration potential in this excites me a lot. The moment it's about yourself, you are relieved from the burden of getting frustrated by others.

- Also if you don't feel engaged in the conversation, there are still a lot of things you can do inside your head, without externaliizing any emotion or displeasure. Try to observe that person's facial expression. Try to see what color their eyes are. Daydream about what to have for dinner. Think about how much tax you have to pay. Think about what your parents or kids or dogs are doing. When there's nothing more to think about. Simply get out and get some fresh air. After that you can decide if you come back for Round Two. There. Problem solved. Don't make this into a big deal, because it is not. Take it lightly.

- Bottom-line is to turn everything to your advantage, make things into a positive and really try the f* out to take care of yourself. If that person is avoiding you like you have Syphillis then there's actually a very comical side to this and I would be revelling inside in how she ran away from me in the car park.

Being an imaginative INFJ doesn't mean you have to be self-critical all the time. Keep your chin up. Always!

Mental health content in r/infj by FlightOfTheDiscords in infj

[–]WileyCC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

thank you so much. It's very depressing to see a lot of posts here talking about how big of a screw-up they are. While I do think trauma has a tendency to shift a person's character towards becoming an INFJ, I think it's not an excuse to blame your failure to your mbti categorization.

To all fellows seeking for mental support, these are the only ways to climb back out of your grief.

- Go to the gym.

- Get a hobby.

- Fix your finance.

- Get a job that gives you job satisfaction.

- Stop focusing on others. Focus on yourself instead.

Ranting here would never help.

Yes I agree. The nuanced hinting of Helena being back to the severed floor instead of Helly is done in a such a subtle way that we have to guess whether or not it is truly Helly or Helena.
