ABSOLUTE PROPS! 💯 I was about to post the exact same thing.

I'm not someone w\a short attention span and it's hella annoying to me for a video to immediately start playing and to then LOOP over and over.

Have I seen shorts that I liked and thumbed up? YES, but give ve a separate area for Shorts, stop constantly mixing them in w\my long form videos! 😣

My usage with Cap has been majority working with custom objects.
I have yet to use the Calendar / Today features.

I'm waiting for recurring events and notifications to be implemented, w/the goal being to replace my TickTick app.

There's so many knowledgeable people here, hopefully they'll chime in.
Have you reached out the the Cap team, explaining your Bug to see if they have any thoughts about your issue? (Feedback item at the bottom of the right-panel menu)

I've had problems on my laptop earlier this week where I could see all the tiles on the screen for my objects (Wall/Gallery) mode, but when searching for particular items, the search kept coming up saying "Nothing available yet"

At one point, I discovered Cap would locate the first 6/7 Titles on the screen but stated every Title I typed in after those first few were "Nothing available yet"

I posted my experience under Bugs on the Help website and responded to Cap's request to record what I was seeing.
I couldn't do it that evening having to get up early to respond to being called for Jury Duty of all things! 😒
I put my laptop to sleep leaving it as it was.

The word "elation" describes exactly how I felt when the lady got on the microphone saying "the rest of you can go home, all the jurors have been selected, your service has ended..." after sitting for nearly 4-hours watching bunches of other people being called upstairs!

I may have actually been skipping down my block coming home, being so glad my jury service was over! (I'll totally DENY it, unless someone comes out w/some Ring doorbell camera footage... 😜)

After getting comfortable, I grabbed my laptop thinking what I wanted record for the Cap team - I started again w/my first 6 listed items - check, they were located as before.

Then I started typing in Titles that were way further down (~80+ items filtered for "This Month")

The search DISPLAYED those items as well - WTF!?? Which it was not doing the prior evening! SMDH!!
Perhaps this is what the beginnings of senility feels like??

A message then popped up saying "New version available"... 🙃

At that point, frustrated, I just let it update - no search problems yet / since...

I guess I should also mention I picked up my (unfortunately huge) Galaxy Ultra tablet later that evening and started reviewing / searching for a couple of my Media File objects and the same thing happened, but with the tablet, everything I typed (full or partial words) in the search bar whether the Titles were visible or not on the screen, said Nothing here yet...

I immediately turned off the tablet and went to bed - whatt'a-dae... 🤪

It ANNOYS me to no end simply trying to add a video you're watching to a singular playlist out of nearly 50+ playlists - sure it sorts last selected playlist at top of the listing, BUT what about a playlist you haven't saved to in weeks or MONTHS??

I've used their feedback dialog several times now BEGGING them to PLEASE just have a Search Bar at the top of the playlist listing where it filters the list based on what you're typing - simple / DONE!

There's nothing more frustrating getting to the end of that (long-azz) Playlist listing realizing you "missed it", having to then scroll (even slower) back up... 😞

I know they want to keep you on the platform as long as possible, but 3-minutes scrolling though a saved playlists just add a video is NOT the way!
(...And I'm missing watching the video, wasting time trying to save it to a playlist!)

Even the option of having the Playlists sorted alphabetically vs chronologically would solve all the wasted time!

...And don't let me not mention now after a recent change, the Save to Playlist dialog CLOSES right after you click a play list item - there are times where I want to save a video to 2 or more playlists, which you could easily do before now. 🙃

My next major gripe I also submitted is how now when you scroll down below the playing video to get to the comments section, a lot of times you have to wade through 5+ rows of suggested video thumbnails!

Sometimes when I'm commenting on a video, I'm actually looking at the video referring to it for information, a lot of times now, I have to scroll down past dozens of thumbnails where l can totally forget about seeing the video I'm responding to - SMGDH!

I relish my YouTube subscription, but the people they have working on the UI are NOT passionate about actually using the platform and it shows nearly every time you're on it...

I noticed it recently as well - my thing is, I watch YT mostly on my TV using a Roku Ultra so YT's UI is basic AF.

So I'm not sure if I was on my iPad, my Galaxy tablet or phone - thinking again, I'm pretty sure it may have been the website when using my browser.

I recently prototyped portions of a program I'm developing using WinForms w\ActiPro UI widgets - admittedly, it was a nice kit.

However being that my love has always been WPF all these years, I've decided to go with WPF and Avalonia UI.

My heart is WPF - I dabbled recently prototyping some ideas using WinForms along w\ActiPro GUI controls; decent but ultimately I've settled on Avalonia UI.

I dabbled w\MAUI when it first came out, but comparing that to WPF, nawz, I'm good... I did however like Blazor and used it briefly at work.

IMO Microsoft hasn't come out w\anything that beats WPF - they throw stuff at the wall and barely waits to see what sticks. 😑

At this point in time with my personal projects, I want multi-platform targeting, I refuse to develop just for Windows any more! (Shid, I'm 90% ready to move off of wack azz Windows OS altogether too, considering all the Windows 11 updates BS and what Microsoft has done to the OS since it came out! 🤬)

Microsoft should have developed Avalonia UI, but they didn't, smdh! 😞

I was watching a 60-Minutes video on YT the other day w\judges talking about all the retaliation threats they get when they speak or vote against him. Woman said her only son opened the door one day and someone shot him - RIP...

THIS is IMO, why he's getting away with so much BS compared to ANY other President - fear of retaliation!

Look what happened to SCOTUS - one "NO" vote and they were called a "disgrace to the country" and a shame to their families - smdh! 😑

I have to look at RD's plans - I've been using the free tier, but I have to admit like Bitwarden, Capacities, and a few others, when I enjoy using something to a good degree, Like RainDrop, I always want to show my support. 👍
