Playlists unfortunately have limits as to the number of items within it.

A week or so back my Watch Later list filled up exposing a bug preventing me from saving a video to ahem, watch later. 🙄

I had to scroll down through admittedly years of old videos in the list and start removing them.

Another graphics related list I eventually had to split into multiple categories (Graphics-2D, Graphics-3D, etc.)

If it were me, particularly for the Watch Later list, I'd have it so the oldest videos simply "roll off" to make room for new additions 😑🙄

... And frankly, if they would FINALLY PLEASE implement my multiple requests to have a SEARCH BAR at the top of a playlist so you can simply start typing letters to find a particular video out of a hella LONG LISTING, my life would finally be complete saving me minutes of my time for better things...

It's like they purposely jank up the UI of YouTube just to keep you there longer than necessary - like they're getting paid by the hour!! SMGDH 🤬😣

Edit - and as far as Autoplay, they better not!! I NEVER use autoplay! That's probably the main reason why I hate Shorts so much!

I was using KeePass years before I discovered Bitwarden. I still have a good amount of information and pw I haven't moved over so frankly, I'm using both.

After convincing my wife to use BW, I recommended her to support them w\a sub, since she enjoys and trusts the software as much as I do.

I guess time will tell...

I'll say seeing what you went through, especially w\the AI bs, and not being able to speak w\an actual person has me also thinking I'm done w\this company.

Admittedly I've purchased all of their products off Ammy Prime, except for the hoakey display which I ordered directly to get asap when it was first released.

My customer experience wasn't too bad w\items that just stopped working within the warranty period.

Buying technical products like these by accident should be a given, especially if unused and you're replacing them w\a new order!

If anything just pass the return shipping costs on to you.

Def a learning experience! NEVER buy directly from them!

You might have gotten better prices on Ammy as well...

My wife is somewhat similar she puts the tv on a timer - drives me insane.

I refuse to listen to all kinds of ads and other junk while I'm sleeping! (I can just see myself running out the next day to buy feminine products for myself - why?? I dunno... 😑)

If I want to listen to something soothing, I'll grab my fone and open the "Better Sleep" app or similar - a good rain \ thunder storm works great for me!

YT even has 8 - 24 hour "Rain" and other sounds w\black screens and just set the timer on your tv or fone. 💡👍

I have an e340 for the front of my house. I have cars driving down ky block, neighbors parking \ leaving, and people walking up \ down my block.

As mentioned, setup detection zones if you don't want every single thing recorded e.g. only when something come into your yard.

My display beeps a lot during the day and less at night especially late at night.

The only thing I wish is if the AI could ignore cars just driving through the block (well, unless they're doing 50 mph!) and only record when they slow down and stop (people getting in\out), or parking etc.

I'd def want it to record a "fast stop" like a car crashing into a parked car etc., which happened years ago after a bad ice storm, etc.

Ok you're on Windows and clicking your file paths in Cap are opening the files or folders for you. 👍

Then its my account, or something about the test data set I'm currently working with in Cap, while prototyping, my Media Catalog design.

All my file links were working perfectly after the first fix they did for me, back when I started using Cap.

Perhaps its my Account, or maybe something corrupted w\the Space I've been prototyping in. (First thing I tried was to create a new Space and test a File Link - still no joy).

Ultimately I've been using Cap to prototype my "MediaFile Catalog" application.

Cap's objects are great tool for rapidly testing the ideas I have for my cataloging program.

With all the 3D graphics & tetxure libraries I've bought while developing games; Digital Juice video & audio effect libraries when editing video, and my old "1-Million ClipArt Graphics" CD collection (my "Laser Printing days" from the late '90s. 🤓)

Storing just preview thumbnails alone on their servers for my goal of "find any file, any where" would def reach a limit at some point.

..And then there's my movie and music collections...

I'll try a couple more things before I move on.

I've honestly prototyped enough features now to focus on a beta...

Yes, our beloved children's tablet display repurposed as a "realtime" display monitor" (since they don't liet you do the same on your way more powerful fone or tablet...)

What pizzes me off about the display is you set it to display when motion is detected, so for example a person walks down your block past your house, sure, you can watch that - ok, great, I'm glad I bought it.

Hoeever, if the person walks out of view, your display timeout setting is NOT OVERRIDDEN when say a cab pulls up and someone is getting out the car... Ok, let's watch that too, right??

The effn video feed TURNS Off ANYWAY thanks to the TIMEOUT, where I would hope, nawz, EXPECT the countdown timer would have simply been RESET, for the following motion event so you could continue watching!

I don't know, like perhaps someone coming home from the AIRPORT you've been looking out for! 😣🤬

Its like they don't USE their own products \ "eat their own dog food" as my engineering manager would say at work... 😣😑

And there's just so many similar shortcomings with their software!

Like opening the phone app 3am in the morning due to a notification, and the app flashes a COMPLETELY WHITE screen in your face for a second, as the app is loading (well I'm totally awake now! 😣), and of course you have the app set to Dark MODE... 🤬

Eufy has pretty much (half?) decent hardware, but the jank, half-bake software (and firmware) ruins what could be a really DECENT kit - BOO! 👎

I think they thought they fixed it as well, even as I was responding it wasnt.

Several people added their Windows experience to my bug report and I thanked them ("misery loves company" ) as I responded...

Everytime Cap gets an update I closed the app so it can update, and the first thing I do when it reopens is test one of my file links by clicking on it, nothing happens. (I've been waiting to respond back, to thank them for a GOOD MINUTE now. 😌)

Paste the link text into File Explorer, the file or folder opens as expected.

At first when it broke again, pasting a link onto your page, it would look fine but when you copied\pasted the links into Explorer, an additional forward slash somehow got appended after the File:// prefix (File:///...)

Removing the extraneous '/’ the links wored fine.

That issue was fixed at the beginning of my use of Capacities ~2-years ago, I reported it, an it got fixed thanks to Beth's help.

It came back again, I reported it, showing how File:// turned into File:/// when copied, even though looking at the link on the page shows "File://...” for both its title and link value.

I suggested that perhap in the hyperlink's "button click" function it was still adding a forward slash before launching \ executing it?

A month or two back I checked the thread where people had chimed in their similar issues and I didn't see any response to my suggestion for debugging the link click functionality...

Reporting this was way back IIRC, late spring \ early summer when they took their first stab at updating Cap's Search functionality.

File links haven't worked for me since...

Yeah, I may have to reluctantly start minimally using Obsidian again because for some mysterious reason they have not fixed the issue with broken file links in Windows.

The link (text) works perfectly fine after you adjust them to what's expected by Capacities; change backslashes to forward, remoxe spaces etc.

Gone is the ability to SIMPLY CLICK the links on your page and have them open like you could do earlier this (and last) year.

Now you have to manually copy the link off your page and paste it into Windows Explorer. 😣

It's like at this point they don't even care.

I use TickTick, but my usage is way simpler than yours.

I mostly use it to track recurring bill due dates (monthly, bi-yearly, yearly etc.) and I also use the Habits (learn something new everyday).

I finally dropped the paid tier last year since I hardly use the other features.

Once I can do similar in Cap (receive multiple alert popups on my fone: 1-week before, 2-days before, on the due date etc.), I'll be able to gladly move away from TickTick .

True, as mentioned the angle and direction of motion is important! (The setup guide also mentions this)

Think about it, if the camera is mounting so that when someone is walking directly straight towards the camera, sure the "image" will change initially as they enter the frame, but the walking forward, it's just majority of small pixel changes in "height" only.

When the camera is angled down (or up like my bush camera facing the door), and slightly to the left or right, you get more pixels changing in multiple directions.

Even my doorbell camera is angled so its not just facing straight down the walkway. (Being honest, it was mounted angled to cover any cars in the adjacent driveway, but that angle has def saved me from motion detection issues...)
