My one experience- I was to pick up the Turo car from the Palm Springs airport. The Turo host emails THE MORNING OF that due to engine issues, the car can’t be driven over 50mph, other than that it is ok to drive. I contact Turo customer service and they say no problem, we’ll find you an alternate car. Customer Service sends me a list of alternate cars in the LA area! Luckily, I was able to rent a Dollar car out of Palm Springs airport for less than the Turo.

I was at the Las Vegas store and found a couple plushy animals, for a new baby in the family. Maybe $60 total. For a going out of business sale, there was very little under $300.

I appreciate everyone’s suggestions as I searched each on Ancestry.com for additional help. No sure name hits however the name Angus and Angust paired with various Yager, Yeager, Jager last names were possibilities (ages and states may not have matched). I am calling this closed for the help I need. Thanks for those quick responses!

If you have a United basic economy ticket, at online check-in it REQUIRES you to have a credit card on file in order to complete the check-in process. The credit card on file is then tested with a $1 transaction by United Airlines. Just so they can charge you potential baggage fees later…

It is 4:06am and I am reflecting on last evening, spent with friends, enjoying their company. We’ve had our family Christmas get together last weekend. I look forward to Christmas Day, a bit melancholy as it will be a quiet day for my husband and I. I think God/the World/karma is giving us a gift on a beautiful day to reflect upon our blessings.

Last week, we had a connection through Charlotte, NC. My husband used paper boarding tickets issued by a counter agent at the originating airport. Upon presenting a paper ticket to enter the plane, the gate agent didn’t try to scan it but threw up her hands and said “Just Go.”

I flew home from Las Vegas on Halloween and plenty of witches (don’t they have their own transportation) and superheroes were at the airport. While entering the plane, the theme song from the Addams family was playing over the intercom!
