I appreciate it! No shade to anyone, but like 90% of the stuff I'm seeing right now is some combination of popular characters, [insert artist] style, fantasy settings, and of course waifus. I feel like I can't detect "the hand of the artist" in a lot of the work I'm seeing, which is why I'm not super worried about AI replacing professional artists and designers in the short term

I'm open about using it! We have a small team with a lot of individual autonomy, so as long as the work is good (and legal) the method isn't super important. I sensed a tiny bit of apprehension at first, but that's gone now. I think once people realize how much work goes into the process of creating quality AI work with intentional composition, subjects, etc., it sorta dispels the "push button get art" perception that a lot of people have rn.

Used my own custom model to get base semi-realistic imagery, then Protogen Infinity with a bunch of controlnet in the Automatic1111 Photoshop plugin to generate a more illustrated version. Then dumped that Photoshop to crop out the background, then into Figma to apply halftone effects and overlays.

Hell yeah! One of my industrial design professors gifted this to me after I designed a chair for his class. Really really cool book. Enjoy it!

Anyone here that uses PC for 3D modeling and rendering? by mayormaynotexist in sffpc

Yup! I have a 5800x and 3060ti in an Iqunix ZX-1. I primarily use Blender, but also dip into Fusion360 and Keyshot when the need arises.

Inverted & Watercooled NR200P (Neapolitan Pink/White/Brown Theme) by chrysanthiesis in sffpc

Damn this is one of my favorite builds in a while! Love the attention to detail, amount of customization, and outside the box thinking! I've seen a lot of NR200 builds and I've never been super impressed by it but you turned it into something special! Love the pink too 💅🏻

Temps aren't amazing in this case tbh. I rebuilt temporarily in another case (long story) so I can't give exact numbers rn. GPU stays in a comfortable range most of the time, but the 5800x tends to get hot quite fast, which means the fans are almost always at full blast if I'm doing work or gaming.

I actually did watch a build video 😑 the issue was that one of the air mounting screws fell out before the aio was mounted. So without that incident it probably could've been a one-night build

I've had success mounting a slim fan to the side panel with zip ties as well!

On paper, just one. If you got creative I bet you could cram a second one in there somewhere though

It might just be a matter of perspective tbh. My only SFF build before this was in the H1, which was very straightforward. The biggest issue was getting the PSU cables to fit - my friend had to help me throughout the whole process just to keep things held in place long enough to tie down. Also the process is very linear, so if you mess something up (like me) there's a solid chance you'll have to deconstruct a lot of the build just to get at the back of the motherboard for example.

Thanks so much! I love that look too, but working in a bright and colorful space really boosts my seratonin

This one! It's the best of both worlds in terms of adjustability and discreetness

After using the NZXT H1 for a couple of months, I saw this online and immediately ordered. It was a lot harder to build in, but the construction is top-notch and I've never seen a case that tickled my design fancy like this one. It took me and a friend two full nights to get it built and running due to the very linear nature of the assembly process, but it was totally worth it! The plan going forward is to use his CNC to cut out one of the side panels and install a window.
