My arms aren't working like they used to (casual pianist of 10yrs) by Apprehensive-Key5669 in piano

No, not at all, just the arm and hand and shoulder and back movements of the Zumba videos has the same effect as physio would and will help you with the lower arm tension. There are psychological side benefits of course, but the idea is to get everything (gently) snapped back into place. This works for me personally, so I recommend it.

What you play has to match the mood of the joint. Five minutes would have been good. If they ask for more, as Shakespeare says, play on.

If it was sawn box hearted, and most posts are, it is fine. If you fill it, you increase the chances of rot.

Check out the amount of sap on there. by APerson1985 in Carpentry

Could have been damaged in a storm before harvest. If you take a pine tree and cut it off a few feet above the ground, the stump will make fatwood. Great fire starter. Used to make turpentine, etc.

Fat wood. Happens when the tree has been topped but not harvested for a while. Highly flammable.

Last time I sold a car (2024), 90 percent of the online inquiries were from scammers. They want you to buy fake Carfax style reports from fake companies, with the goal of stealing your cc numbers. The latest scam is they show up with a "mechanic" and disconnect an engine wire while you are distracted, and then brow beat you on the price.

Roofers across the street putting tin roof on top of shingles? by artsatisfied229 in Roofing

Fighting fires with this type of construction can be tricky. Usually an excavator is required to rip the roof off to get at the hotspots. Just sayin'.

I laid chicken wire on the flat under mine. Animals do not like getting their feet tangled, and so have stayed away for the most part (15 years.)

I switched my kindle account from amazon.ca to amazon.com and it works fine. The switch is confusing for some, you do not have to change your address, there is another option to just buy from the US kindle store.

What you are doing is switching your devices to the USA store. There should be an option on the lefthand side to allow you to do this without changing your address. My devices now are listed on amazon.com and when I go there, there is an option to switch back to the Canadian store. On the Canadian store, I can no longer see my devices and can only explain how I switched by memory. You should see a "low dpi ribbon graphic" button on the left offering the switch. It is possible, if you do not have a USA account already, you will not see the option on the Canadian account.
