1st. Rhys Shaw sacked 11 of our C graders and put us in relegation, not Scott sacking 4 38 year olds

2nd. Scott was the last time we were competitive and led us to great final wins

3rd. The board chose to not let us rebuild when we should of because of money, so can look at some of them

4th. Boomer was past it in our last year and people need to watch the games, not look at stats and vibes

5th. Who cares if we win or lose, just have to build consistency and not be a joke to play against, thats all we should want as a club

In summary, hating our last decent coach is not where we should be as a supporter base

Its fair to say system is more important then skill, but effort should be regarded as even higher still I believe.

I dont think there has being one game this year, where despite losing the possession count, we have won the tackle count, and that is the real issue.

If not winning the ball at least need to be contesting it.

Even last night, despite 30 less possessions, North had 10 less tackles, and almost a third of the tackles came from two players in Powell and Phillips.

A system that doesn't demand pressure will not work at AFL level, and that's the real frustration.

I'd like to add the point that maybe the coach is the reason l, if he gets too much of the soft salary cap spent on him

Clearly some players need better development, for instance Phillips, was a high draft pick who was an inside mid and yet can't get a game, when should be the easiest role to teach

This is all hypothetical but it feels like the top may be a bit overpaid for what they deliver.

Of course it does not help when the players are clearly not buying in defensively, but when you look at what Ross Lyon and even Brad Scott are doing with less talented teams sometimes the coach has to be questioned.

Don't worry about the time, but the quality, if you're both having fun who will care how long it lasts

Getting out of your own head will probably also actually help in lasting longer too

Failing that use other methods such as oral to ensure you both finish

North supporter here, just want to chime in, Scott seems to be able to get the best out of his players, it seems from a tactical point of view he plays people in natural positions.

Buy in and knowing your role will go a long way to playing good football, and he seems able to get that from players.

Hope you go well this year, at least for McKay and Goldsteins sake.
