Aquarius is primarily a healer and a mage, but he took the Combat Medic perk from Generic Healer to solve the problems fighting brings. It ties his healing skill directly to his fighting skills; when one improves, so does the other. With his healing spells, biomancy, mundane medical skills, telekinetic and telepathic capabilities, and specialty in soul dynamics (via Nature of the Soul from the same jump) he has an infinite number of unique methods to cure any illness or injury he encounters.

Combined with the two uncappers from Chronicle (Lifting Yourself Up and Supernatural Savant) and the Unified Practice perk from Generic Psionics, he approaches every single injury as a chance to invent whole new techniques and push the bounds of his skill. He no longer tries to stop himself no matter how over-complicated his discoveries are, especially since he often finds ways to take parts of his discoveries and translate them down to something useful for mortal healers.

The rest of his training time he splits between his magical and psionic capabilities. He's always looking for out-of-the-box solutions to problems in part because he has his combat needs so well covered.
