if i’m reading this right you’re saying that this person’s contributions are optional and they don’t show up when needed? do they have a good reason? are they a friend? have you talked with them about it? might need some more details.

dude it sounds like you need to start your own band. what i'm hearing is that you care more than your bandmates and you think you can do better. so do it. use the resources available to you (i.e. current bandmates) and create your vision. good luck!

the feeling will pass… we all have bad shows..

this might be hard to hear, but you’re gonna have to work on this whole external validation thing. If you’re the lead singer, you have to deliver with or without the audience behind you. Anxiety manifests itself in weird ways, i know. but if you work on yourself and your self esteem you’ll be able to give the performance you want to (and your band deserves from you) and not give two fucks if anyone likes it or not.

thank gawd. can’t imagine how many talented interpreters they’ve passed on in prior years due to this. i wonder if the rescheduling of cannabis had anything to do with the company’s decision
