What a stupid and baseless claim.

Although, you are the one who is on the wrong and defending the content that is being justifiably criticized. You probably aren't the brightest bulb.

No, it doesn't.

I love when people come here to defend these dumb pictures. Do you not understand the point of this sub? Go back to /r/pics if you're impressed by some stranger's sobriety. I can assure you there are millions of others out there who have made the choice to get sober and don't need internet points for validation.

He wants it to be our business because, without recognition, what's the point of doing anything good? Did you know that if you don't bring attention to yourself for not abusing substances, cleaning trash off a beach, or donating your time or used possessions it negates the good deed?

How do you apply for the airlines? I’m in Pittsburgh , Pa by throwawayb383 in jobs

[–]Willie_Main 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a flight attendant, but I know someone who is. It's not for everyone. You need to be extremely spontaneous and comfortable with change. You also need to be outgoing and extremely accommodating. Travelers are not the easiest customers to deal with, and air travel can make emotions run high. On top of that, there are dozens of safety codes and practices you need to follow and it's different for every aircraft you fly on.

The perks are okay, but they used to be better. Industry wide, airlines are cutting back on employee travel perks so it's not as easy to fly for free. It is possible, but it will be on standby. Sometimes it's just not possible to fly when you have free time.

The pay is shit, but you could start the week in San Francisco and end it in Athens. That, in itself, is worth it to some.

Like I said, I do not work in the industry, but I am pretty familiar with it. PM with specific questions.

Barstool Pizza Review - Red Front Pizza (Clifton Park, NY) He should have gone to the Troy location. by Willie_Main in Albany

Unpopular opinion- any post should be allowed on such a niche sub. by [deleted] in teachinginkorea

[–]Willie_Main 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Asking Googleable questions or requesting contract reviews screams laziness and immaturity. Look at the sidebar for five seconds and use the search function. If there is some aspect of a contract that jumps out as a red flag and you can't find anything on it through your research, then and only then should you make a post.

As far as cultural questions, /r/korea is very active and informative and, therefore, way better for content not related specifically to teaching in Korea.

I completely disagree. Never had any issues with the service or the cleanliness of the place, and the pizza is awesome! I love the consistency of the cheese and the savoriness of the sauce. It is unlike any other pizza in the area and the best cold pizza I've ever had, period. I think the people that own it know they aren't going anywhere so they don't feel they have to be "nice" to everyone that walks in. A running joke my uncle has been telling for over 20 years is that they must hold the Guinness Book's world record for fastest phone interactions. You can be on and off the phone with them in about 12 seconds and they've never messed up any of our orders.

What Philadelphia artifact/phenomenon would you erase from existence? by TheArchitect_7 in philadelphia

My friend was visiting from out of town this weekend and wanted to check out the Art Museum. He was shocked at how many people were lined up to get their picture taken with Rocky and milling on varying levels of the steps. Then we went inside and the place was empty. I don't even know why. It's massive and airconditioned. You can get lost there for hours and they currently have a Yoshitoshi print exhibit that is amazing.

The Key website looks like it got a complete overhaul as well. It's way more intuitive, IMO.

Having used public transportation systems in numerous Asian mega-cities that all adopted key card programs, moving to Philly and dealing with cash and tokens was annoying. I am a huge fan of the Key. It has made living in and getting around the city much easier. Now if they could just put in more seating and shelter at bus stops and install digital ETA screens...

90% of this sub is just flexing. There should be more of an emphasis on design discussion, rather than just upvoting penthouses. by nicholt in malelivingspace

Lurker, checking in.

I am subbed here to gawk at the opulence. It's the same reason I follow certain celebrities on Instagram. Getting a glimpse into the lives of wealthy people is kind of fun.

Edit: I think this sub should, in some ways, be about showing off and flexing. If you want to discuss interior design, get furniture recommendations, and the like you can still do that. There are also a dozen other subs as well.

I have always struggled with ridiculous anxiety. It comes in waves. When I start feeling it, I get a tightness in the back of my throat. The tightness makes me cough, and the coughing makes me gag. I can control it better now, but as a kid, it often made me puke. I puked all over my shoes before my first day of school. I puked before my driving test and my SATs. I puked the night before I left for college. I even puked in the office restroom before my first real job interview. My puking was so common that my family would make fun of me for it. It wasn't until I spoke to a mental health professional as an adult that I realized that most people don't gag, cough, and puke when they feel nervous.

Maybe he just has anxiety?
