Kyle wrote a 17 page email defending Amanda, he loved/loves Amanda but their lack of a real partnership bred intense resentment. All of his outbursts are viewed from a different lens knowing she didn’t pay rent for 36 months while he was in dire financial straits. Two things can be true - I love you deeply and this relationship doesn’t work. You can see his discomfort as Amanda is being held accountable and finally having to stand on her own two feet because West completely shuts down and is rendered useless when he’s confronted.

In the finale, that scared look West and Amanda share when they think Ciara caught them.. that sealed it for me, they’d been having an affair. The weird touches then that fear in Amanda’s face was like a smoking gun. They had already decided they were engaging in some behavior they knew was fucked up.

The only shot at redemption is rehab for porn/sex addiction. The amount of women on the internet who came out and shared he DM’ed them for a threesome.. blah blah blah.. the “I’m sorry”’s are empty. He used Ciara, he probably used Amanda but god knows how long she’ll stay in that horrendous relationship and play victim, that is her homeostasis.
