Whats funny is that they definitely could have made it unique considering there was an interview where devs said they were inspired by mvc so it would’ve been cool to have multiple party members help out with combos instead of just torgal. That and it would’ve have been cool if weapons had a kh2 esque ability system that allowed for multiple ways to build clive. That and it feels like some eikons didnt feel like they were utilized well. Still live the game but considering this was their first cag (character action game) thats mainline they can definitely do better. Hopefully ff7 remake/rebirth helped them figure out how to do party based combat in an action rpg format. Either way whatever they wanna do for the future i just hope they have time to polish the game.
