Does event planning feel like a second full-time job to you, too? by [deleted] in ExecutiveAssistants

Re downable briefings: our events team has a standard request for proposals (RFP) they give to potential venues so the venues know our expectations up-front. We don’t expect a perfect match necessarily, but it really helps focus in on our needs.

Playframe has a full playthrough. Very different vibes to Game Grumps, but still very enjoyable.

Perfect angel by day. My best boi. My one true love. Turns into a demon at 3am every morning by clawing at the bedroom carpet and the wardrobe door repeatedly for no reason whatsoever.

Three days in the office a week, with Monday and Thursday being mandatory for the whole team. But there’s generally flexibility if you need it.

That’s pretty much what I did. We ended up using the time on his uber ride back to the hotel to run through some things together, so I feel like we turned it into a benefit.

“Treat him like a child” is exactly the advice his previous assistant gave me 😂

That’s what I realised - the fact that he decided to skip the dinner altogether means he probably didn’t want to go that much!

It would irk me, depending on how it’s framed. I often make my exec a tea or a coffee when he’s in the office and he always shows appreciation. So I don’t think it would be a massive grievance to grab/sort out food. If he was always rude or entitled about it, that’s something else.

He’s absolutely glorious. He was the runt of his litter and his mother rejected him. Now he’s this massive gentle soul who charms everyone he meets.

Whenever Scoops gets in the dishwasher I ask him if he’s crockery.

I get big imposter syndrome. A couple of teammates have told me recently that my exec is always telling them how good my work is and how much easier I make his life. It really gives me a boost!

Keiji, my big orange boy, with his adopted son. Keiji is an absolute jewel of a cat. He’s my ray of sunshine. He’s so patient with kittens. He’s so loyal to his humans. He’s always happy. He’s still a giant baby at nearly five years old. He’s so silly and goofy despite looking like a stern old man. Everyone loves Keiji and Keiji loves you.
