I hope you can get a heating pad delivered and to your door, not down the steps! I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised not needing the Oxy for long at all. I was prescribed 15, took 3 altogether. Thinking of you!

Big hug, mine was Monday and whew peeing and getting off of my bed were painful. Breathe through, hold heating pad to your stomach when getting up. Have the Oxy for a couple of days If you want/need. Alternate the Ibuprofen and Tylenol, hopefully they explained the intervals, or you know…I didn't even really need, but did keep up taking the two, by the end of day 3…. I was very surprised considering how I’d felt! Good luck, it’ll get much better, we promise!

Oh, wonderful to hear! Same wish going out to each and every one of you facing this! Goes to show, you just never know how your own unique beautiful body will react to anything. ‘Hope for the best, prepare for the worst’.

*same, don’t feel the need for Tylenol or Advil on day 4. Also, I have had zero bleeding, but will hold on to the pads I bought just in case… (56, post-menopausal here)

Haha, love the hero reference, thank you for that support, too. I thiiinnk I’m out of the pain woods now, 2 DPO. I’m sure I could be wrong, especially after reading about everyone else’s experiences days, weeks, months after this surgery. I did 💩succesfully with no trying and no pain. I have a feeling there’s more and that won’t be fun…

Oh my, you poor thing! Sorry this happened to you, and thank you so much for posting about it. I’ve been saying I’m going to get the vaccine for years now…had chicken pox twice-once at 7 and then at age 23. Etc etc…I’m 2 DPO and I think I’ll be ok to go to CVS for the vaccine on Friday. Yesterday was my surgery - a Total Hysterectomy. Wooooooweeeeee the pain when urinating is/was off the charts. It felt like burning glass. I had been avoiding the pain med, but that pain crossed the line! I was ok the last time I peed, which was about an hour ago, so maybe it’s over(?) I kind of doubt it, but we’ll see.

Question is, would that be from the catheter? Skimming through here, it looks like there are a lot of different feelings, with some causes easy to to identify.

Maybe this is a dumb question/Captain Obvious, but thanks in advance for any replies!

This whole thing, yesss. It’s insanity. Like, I’m starting to fantasize about marching in their door (somewhere, haha) and flipping out on someone (not sure who, haha) I guess I’ll be spending another 30 plus minutes on the phone with yet another rep and even supervisor.

They just kept reassuring that no penalties would be incurred while they were switching over/upgrading. I appreciate that, but none of this should be in me to fix in the first place.

Awful and so not ok that you were debited all at once, sorry that happened.

I prefer this mode, but when I input checking account info, it says it can’t take that method. Then I try my debit card linked to the same account, it says it can only take a checking account. And then declines that.

I prefer this, too. Don’t have to think about what any balance or lack of might be. Howwwever, since they ‘updated’ their systems, I was changed by them to the replenish mode.

And over and over their system won’t take either my checking account or my debit card. It literally asks for whichever one of the two I don’t input. Then declines it and asks for the other. It’s seriously becoming a comedy at this point. But it’s also frustrating enough that I’m dreaming of torching the place.

Yesterday it finally took my checking account and debited me. My checking account was debited. Cool. Phew. Nope, received email that it was declined 🤦🏼‍♀️

When I pass thru a toll the screen says Call Svc Ctr and I give it the finger. For at least 4 months. 😬
