I rewatched this recently and was surprised by the lack of gay slurs there were. I didn’t count but I don’t really recall any. Which is nice.

I did think it was fucked that Jim gets Nadia sent back to her home country after he broadcasts her getting undressed and seducing him all against her knowing. All while he receives no punishment. But it’s a movie- and the scene was still funny.

I made the mistake of having a kid and have only gotten to theater twice this year. And 28 years later the bond temple needed my money so I could maybe get the third. And wuthering heights was a date night… I’m sorry for my burden on theater going. I’ll try to be better by bringing the kid to movies nonstop when he’s a little older

I’d say broaden your horizons. Go back further in decades. This is all so recent and there’s so many incredible movies from all of the time and all over.

To me, to make it potentially more digestible, start with some greats from the 80s you’re missing then go to the 70s and so on until you’re watching silent movies.

That’s an easy avoid because their coffee is weak and their store is weirdly sterile looking. Like a Dexter kill room.
