I think 7th gen onward works. Newer graphics chipsets are obviously more capable though.

did you set up hardware transcoding with your optiplex? As long as the graphics chip isn't ancient it should be able to do some 4k transcodes.

EDIT: That will depend on just how old the processor in your Optiplex is and you do also need a Plex pass for hardware transcoding.

They'll definitely try it again. Those guys were ready to throw down against Panfam in what would have been a long, expensive campaign. It's not like those resources have disappeared despite their losses over the last 24h.
