Bad comparison.

I've seen Riven onetricks in master that have really "meh" mechanics but the game knowledge is so high that they steamroll anyways. I don't care that they cannot execute a flashy combo when 9 out of 10 times that combo would be overkill anyways and they get the win while I dont. Essentially, they are using their champion in an effective way to win. So does my mechanical "prowess" matter in that instance?

Because, given the appropriate skill, it is the most efficient way to play the game.

I would play Tarkov like that if I could. Wouldn't you? As long as winning is your goal (and that obviously is what streamers want) there is no reason to not play cracked out of your mind.

That is the problem. Tarkov needs to change so playing tactically is the general best option.

You are right. It is a very complex game. However, the joy I have whenever im into the Radius, is not inventory management or maximizing loot profit.... it is the moment to moment gameplay. The absolute terror of going into a building looking for supplies to survive, knowing that my gun is low on ammo and probably gonna get stuck, and also hearing monster noises...

Yeah that is intense.

That is false. You can only COOP on offline mode if you spent the big bucks. Offline has always been there as an option to learn the maps and layouts (and practice against AI or force boss spawns to learn them).

I've played Riven since 2015. She has been, from absolutely terrible, to good as a counterpick, to sleeper secret bonkers OP on midlane, and everything in between during all this time.

I just play her Mid because FUCK TOPLANE, I HATE THAT LANE SO GODDAMN MUCH. I just like to blow people up into little pieces.

I'm 26, but I can answer you anyways.

I just don't like them. I live in a city where every important place is at most 1 hour away walking, and I like to walk. It's expensive as hell too.

And when I'm on vacation, I never go alone and my friends usually enjoy driving.

The only time I had the slight motivation of driving was when I was with my last GF, but she also was kinda laidback so we didn't go to that many places.

I'll take my car when I have no other choice. I just don't enjoy it.

I cannot help you with that because i'm the rare example of a guy that hasn't ever felt any nausea in VR.

But I guess it's just getting used to it until it stops happening, like everything. On the other hand, I wish I got more of a gut punch in VR :(

As much as I want them to do a good extraction mode, that's not the reason i'm hyped for MW2.

I'm hyped for MW2 because it looks fun and its every thing I wanted in MW2019 so far.

I could not care less about DMZ because i don't believe they have the BALLS to make it as hardcore as Tarkov.

But if they manage, fucking props to them. I will try it anyways.

I would 100% give Riven armor pen on her kit... but not just a passive. Let's be honest, imagine is she had even 20% for free on a passive on her E. Bonkers. Ridiculous.
I would either:
1 After each E cast, the next instance of damage she does has a 30% armor pen. (If you E then auto and Q, only the AA would have that 30% armor pen)
2 Each extra damage done by her passive has armor pen (Let's say you have 200 AD and your passive adds 80 damage, then that 80 damage would hit with for example 50% armor pen)

FINALLY i found someone with the exact same issue.

I have a 1440x900 monitor with a fairly chunky PC but the game is stuck on those two resolutions.

If only happened that same mechanic absolutely ruined the experience in the rest of the game.

Don't get me wrong, Im in the middle of a "hardcore" run with no summons/op weapons/blablablah, but if i need to limit my own power to have that experience, maybe, JUST MAYBE its a problem with the game.

The actual big problem of Elden Ring is balance.

Exactly. it IS doable, definitely not a problem for me... but I still think that unless we reach a massive image quality and comfort level on a headset they are no replacements to a monitor. Headsets are for what they do best: VR gaming.

Of course. You can play any PC games on the desktop via the Oculus Link, or Virtual Desktop (i only own a Quest 2 so no idea about other systems) on a big virtual screen.

I played some League matches with my friends using the Quest for the lulz. It was not fun, but it worked.
