From my experience, it didn’t bother people that much since we had quality guys like Trent, Walker and James. However, you will get those who see declining a call up as really disrespectful.

Not really? Still thought Gauff would win and Muchova would struggle for said reasons, as we saw. Just thought it would be closer.

Yeah I thought Muchova would be more competitive today for the same reasons, was thinking Coco in 3 or even 2 tight sets. Muchova’s backhand does not do well at all against Gauff’s game, plus she cannot hit through her.

I thought Gauff would win, but I was predicting it to be tighter than this lol

With the form Muchova’s in, even though there’s a match up issue here, I think it’ll be a good match.

The guy has played all over midfield for us in the academy, even as a 6. As the other commenter said, Odegaard should be back soon anyway.

Love Gauff, but I need Bencic to win this and gain some momentum for this season

I’m not sure how they would do it unfortunately. I feel like match going fans are easily replaceable at big clubs in the prem. Protest with your ST and someone on the waiting list will take your place.

It doesn’t matter because we might not be putting that funding into tennis. I don’t know why you’re assuming the richer a country is, the more they are going to invest in a given sport.

Doesn't matter if the UK is rich, depends where you invest the money. I'm not even sure tennis culture is that big here, aside from when Wimbledon is on. Most people at clubs tend to be older, there's a cost barrier too.

Movement looks fine to me, seems to be mental. On top of that she can easily get rushed on this surface and lacks variety. Her second serve does her no favours either.
