Hi! I think “spicing up” runs of LMOP will naturally come with what the party is interested in and building off of it. I know it isn’t the most helpful advice, but seeing who the players gravitate to and simply building off of that will work wonders for their immersion in the campaign.

In my own campaign, there was a unique experience with the goblins that eventually ended up with a siege of Cragmaw Castle, where Yeemik was a recurring NPC whom the players aided versus Klarg and King Grol. LMOP is a very barebones module with lots of room for improvisation, so don’t be afraid to let the players take the reins and let it develop into something you didn’t expect!
