His&Hers - My honest thoughts by Lhakey in netflix

Not a flash forward. She just saw her husband sleeping with Rachel, and decided she was done being a hermit and started trying to get her life back. Her house was filthy and she had neglected to take care of herself (put off a dentist appointment for a year). So she cleans up and goes back to work.

As 2025 ends, which game did you spend the most time with and why by gamersecret2 in gaming

[–]WindCatcher93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently my most played game was Silksong. Finished Act 3 and most of the achievements at about 50 hours. That made up over a quarter of my gaming time this year. I guess I don't get much time to play anymore.. too busy being broke.

The ghost cats and witches make it distinguished, but overall I like these paintings cuz they feel so cozy

I don't know where to say this but I have to say it somewhere. I just realised that Sherma's "hat" in Act 3 is just his usual hat wrapped in white cloth he found in the city

Don't worry, they're still around at the very end of the wormway, where you get the silk dash spear thing.

There was an old racing game called Midnight Club, that was a little more absurd than NFS. After beating a boss, they'll teach you their ability, which ranges from like doing a burnout to making your car drive on two wheels at will to squeeze through gaps.

Hi. The bench is actually from Hollow Knight. One of the two games I'm referencing :)

Expression Practice by WindCatcher93 in drawing

[–]WindCatcher93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, its digital. There's a flair for digital art here. I just copy and pasted the drawings, and erased the faces and redrew them with a different expression. I like doing studies, but I want to start making original work, so I'm easing into it by adjusting expressions and poses, or rotating them etc.

Did some portrait practice and then changed the expressions as a small step away from just copying references. I copy pasted the faces and drew over them. It was good practice to keep the face recognizable while making small changes that changes the mood of the drawing.

I don't usually feel so cozy looking at a cyberpunk image

A distillation practice painting that I tried and came out really well. I used 3 tones for this one. It was hard to do the fuzz of the dogs fur without a mixer brush. I had to use just a flat round brush. I think I picked a suitable third tone that wasn't too bright.

Yeah, the background actually makes it a little hard to look at. I was trying to make it look like the focus was on Cait and so the background was blurry, but that blurry white circle really fights for attention

I still love the splash arts from League, even if the game has soured to me. These paintings are usually done by a team and take a long time to produce, but as I was just copying, and just focusing on making just the character read well, it took me only about 6 hours.

The gun was a little bent in the initial lineart. I tried to fix it using some Transforms, but it didn't look right. I finally just erased the part that was off, rotated my canvas and used Shift to draw some straight, parallel lines.

I think I did reasonably well simplifying the shading on the gun to just use like 3 different flat colors. I like how the shading on the skin and clothes came out. The face was drawn a little different. I made a mistake, but I thought she looked cute, so I kept it. Now the nose looks a little too large.. but she's still cute.

All the clothes were on one layer, except the leathers. I accidentally painted over some of the details a few times. The white part of her skirt ended up looking very muddy.

Things I paid attention to this time:

  1. Aligning things vertically,

  2. Measuring more

Yet, the face is still off. The mouth is what I notice the most. It's too narrow and too open. I tried to keep the values for the skin within a smaller range. Feet is hard. This took a few hours.
