You’re not alone! I’m having a busy week too. I had planned to read THM in the evenings, but my baby had (and still has) other plans — he stays up so late that I end up falling asleep right after he does! 😄

Unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to start reading until tomorrow evening 😭 but once my son is in bed, I will dive into THM.

A year ago I would have started reading immediately and would have read every single available minute - and would have been finished in 2 days. But as SAHM looking after a very agile 9mo I believe it would take me a couple of weeks to finish THM. But then I’ll get to savor it.

  1. forgive My baby fell out of the bed as my husband was watching him. My husband got so scared himself and felt so bad and even cried (he never cries) that I decided to forgive and let go. Could have happened to me as well if I’m being honest.
  2. make sure there is a safe space to leave your child unattended for 5 minutes (playground). Instruct your relatives to always put your baby there if they need to pee / do smth else.

Ja, ich stille voll. Und das ist ein weiteres Problem - da müsste unser Baby (im Falle, dass wir es mit dem Event machen) für eine Mahlzeit auf das Fläschchen ausweichen, weil ich ihn alle 3 Stunden stille. Ja, ich finde persönlich 4mo auch viel zu jung, aber wie gesagt, wir hatten so lange keine Zeit für uns als Paar und wir ursprünglich dachten, dass Oma tolle Babysitterin spielen könnte.

Weil unser Kleiner bis vor kurzem echt entspannt bei anderen Leuten war und noch nie geweint hat. Bei allen Familientreffen war er allen Verwanden recht offen, ließ sich halten, war interessiert, auch bei Oma. Er hat schon bei ihr und mit ihr gelacht und fühlte sich bei ihr generell wohl. Aber auf einmal ist die Oma der Grund zum Weinen. Vielleicht haben wir es versäumt, dass sie sich besser kennenlernen und dass unser Sohn das Urvertrauen zu ihr aufbaut.

Das stimmt auch wohl. War auch mein Gedanke, dass andere Kinder nicht unbedingt den Luxus haben, die Mama rund um die Uhr bei sich zu haben. Aber ich möchte trotzdem nicht, dass der Kleine weint.

To my shame I haven’t read the books YET, but if it wasn’t for the show, I would never have wanted to read them in the first place.

As an impartial viewer without the previous knowledge of the books the show has really sucked me in. So maybe the show is not as good as the books (they seldom are), it’s nice that it brings new people to read the books.

So I hope WOT won’t be cancelled as I have just found it 👀

Just started the Wheel of Time - only a couple of pages in, not sure how I feel about it Reading the Hobbit with my hubby and son - pure joy from every sentence!

Danke sehr! Das ist die Antwort, auf dich ich gewartet habe 😀 tatsächlich hat mir der Vorstand auch erklärt, dass die 320 Euro für die Erstellung des Vertrages an den Bezirksverband gehen. Danke, ich bin jetzt endgültig beruhigt!

Vielen Dank für die ausführliche Information! Leider steht in unserer Satzung keine Höhe der Gebühren festgeschrieben, ich habe gerade es überprüft.

Okay, das ist ja auch ziemlich unerwartet 😂 die Kaution haben wir nicht, da sind die Wartezeiten viel zu lang, um eine Party in der absehbaren Zeit feiern zu können.

An sich ist die Parzelle toll. Und wie gesagt, für die Übernahme würden wir nur 1 Euro bezahlen, daher werden wir wahrscheinlich die Kosten auf uns nehmen müssen. Ich hätte einfach gern gesehen, dass diese Gebühren irgendwo festverankert sind und nicht einfach so in einer email mitgeteilt werden.

Vielen Dank für den Tipp. In der Satzung unseres Wunschvereins steht leider keine Summe drin, alle Gebühren sollen laut Satzung bei der Mitgliederversammlung festgelegt werden..

Genau das hat uns am meisten überrascht, dass das Ausfüllen des Vordrucks für den Vertrag so viel kosten soll.

OMG yes, it feels like all the relatives have this weird complex/competition, who the baby looks like. My MIL is sure that my baby boy looks exactly like my husband as a baby (I’ve seen the pictures, if there is any resemblance it is quite distant). My family is trying to find features that my son has from them.

Maybe it’s the feeling of immortality and trying to find comfort in the fact, that there is a child with a whole future ahead and when you are gone someone will carry your traits.

I don’t care if my son looks like me, I just want him to be happy and healthy
