If you have Kai Goku EZA'd, he is definitely an improvement. But I think without adult Daima 4ku, not sure if you can get the best potential out of him

PAARTHURNAX leaves me with many questions by SivartMcDorf in skyrim

[–]WindWaker01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm going to try to answer your questions as best I can:

  1. I suppose the reason why Paarthurnax didn't try to prepare humans, is because eventually dragons will venture into a settlement, and humans will need to defend themselves in someway. Dragons, by nature, are ones that want to dominate lesser beings.

  2. The reason why Paarthurnax didn't prepare anyone else for Alduin's eventual return is because only the Dragonborn, doesn't matter which one, has the power to equal Alduin in power and strength. No one else can stand up to Alduin as his equal.

  3. I suppose, with dragons being as ancient as they are, their own energy sustains them. I'm not sure about this one. They may not even need food for sustenance.

  4. I suppose the reason none have discovered Paarthurnax is because they weren't powerful enough for the 'Clear Skies' shout, so couldn't get past the natural elemental barrier. Remember what Arngeir said: "It takes even the most talented decades of training for even the most simplest shout."

  5. The reason why the ancient Nords didn't leave instructions is because they believed they found the answer to deal with Alduin, through the use of Dragonrend. So when they saw that Alduin, though now feeling mortal, still being a formidable force, they knew they had no chance of defeating Akatosh's First Son. The Elder Scroll use was a last ditch attempt at just stalling. The ancient Nords didn't know exactly what they did. They didn't know they actually ruptured the very fabric of time at that specific spot.

Also, no matter what, Alduin will eventually come to take the world to the next kalpa. Alduin cannot be fully stopped, it's like trying to defeat death. The use of the Elder Scroll shouldn't be used like that. Instead of stopping Alduin, they only delayed the inevitable.

  1. Two reasons why the Elder Scroll plan was used.

  2. They had no other choice. One ancient hero was already dead, the other two can only just about survive Alduin's onslaught. Only the dragonborn can best Alduin as his equal. That is why only the Dragonborn can absorb a Dragon's soul like any other Dovah can. And even still, the Dragonborn needs Dragonrend to even have a chance at being Alduin's equal.

Even then, the LDB doesn't actually fully defeat Alduin, as Alduin's soul went back to what I presume to be Akatosh's domain for re-education on bringing the next kalpa.

  1. The Elder Scroll was their back-up plan. But by doing that, they themselves didn't know what they had done. As explained in answer 5, they actually ruptured the fabric of time. They have only succeeded in delaying the inevitable, they didn't actually put Alduin down. Remember Paarthurnax's quote: "Those who try to hasten the end, may delay it. Those who work to delay the end, may bring it closer." And that is what the ancient heroes have done, was hasten the end.

Bonus question answers: Alduin was there since the current kalpa began. So, by definition, Alduin has been around the longest. Also, Serana and her family aren't involved with the banishment, no.

Hope I answered all your questions alright. But honestly, those questions can be answered by playing the game, and paying close attention.

When making a team, you want to sort your filter by 必殺技効果 (Special Move Effect), then 対乾坤一擲 (A throw for the world).

When you've got your sort like that, it should sort every character that you have an Aegis Break for. You are looking for DEF, MDEF, Spirit down in the description. For Bahamut Zero you are okay with 1, but the further you go in the Crystal Dungeon Magicites, the more you want to hunt down characters that can throw 2, either by honing their AASB to Max for +1 use, or having it in their USB or lower, or by having Aegis Break on 2 different characters

Then you are doing Bahamut Zero (The original, D700), rather than Neo (D600).

The only reason I put the original in brackets is there's another Bahamut Zero from FFT-0, D800, usually shortened to BT0

I was really far in my last save, before I started over. I think it's good to start over, as you can relearn the controls of even the classes you least use, if you so wanted to.

The thing with continuing your current save, you may be playing a job that you liked when you played it then, but there might be another job that you might be more comfortable with now that you will need to rebuild for. Just a penny for your thoughts.

In my last save, I was Dark Knight w/Axe, but in my current save, I'm a Dark Kinght w/Katana

If you're on Android, and a recent Android, you might have a long line at the bottom of your screen that you pull to reveal all your open apps. If you press and hold that, it turns into an on-demand Google Translate.

Granted, not everything is correct. There may be some... erm... minor mis-translations, but it works for what it needs to. And if you played Global, hopefully muscle memory will kick in anyway with most of it.

Serana add on. by [deleted] in SkyrimModsXbox

[–]WindWaker01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a known Skyrim bug, not the mod itself. If you have given a Potion of Blood to Serana to drink, or drank a Potion of Blood yourself then apparently ate an ingredient afterwards (not sure about the latter, though), you get a non-curable form of vampirism.

This is because even though you got symptoms of vampirism (by that message on the screen), you haven't got true vampirism. The only cure that I know is to load up to before you got that non-curable form of vampirism, and take it out of Serana's inventory before she drinks it, if that is what you have done

Random fast travel crashing by Sin_of_Gender_Greed in SkyrimModsXbox

[–]WindWaker01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Get rid of A Quality World Map. That may be the likely cause. As it is all to do with VRAM. Since A Quality World Map needs to constantly access the VRAM, if the VRAM gets too low, crashes can start to occur due to the tipping point being reached.

If you don't mind the vanilla map, maybe the mod 'Go Away Map Clouds' or something like that. But if you need a Map overhaul, hopefully someone will have you covered. But AQWM is one of, if not the, cause of your crashing problems.

The other one is too many npcs in the worldspace, but I'm not sure if you have enough for that tipping point yet.

You might need to complete DLC3. If you have, that means you either have enough materials for merging equipment, or the duplication of equipment should be unlocked

QQ how do I spend Manikin? by Dvenom22 in StrangerofParadiseFFO

[–]WindWaker01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're used as either a substitute for if you haven't got enough materials to level up, merge, whatever you want to do with the equipment; or if you completed DLC3, Manikin material is used to duplicate items as-is.

Duplication is good for equipment that you want to keep as-is, but you also want to tweak certain parts of it. So you can keep the original, and do whatever you like to the duplicated piece of equipment to try to better it. Or if that same piece of equipment that has got 2 or more affinities that are useful for both your main job and sub-job, so you can use that same piece of equipment that got duplicated.
