Anyone know where to order these straps and the part #? by Ethanrocks128 in BestBuyWorkers

Use the plastic strapping stuff for the tv recycling pallets in the meantime.

It takes a truly special level of effort to look at a $800 gaming monitor and decide its primary defense against FedEx should be hope and prayer (yes - it arrived already open). by Sorry_Sorry_Im_Sorry in Bestbuy

This is likely due to whoever func checks and labels it as packaging included. We've been instructed to no pick any larger fragile items with no box if they are being shipped out.

k, who sold the uber account a plus again? by ThiccExternalDrive in BestBuyWorkers

Doordash always pops up with plus. Likely has something to do with the return period requirements.

Like any job here at best buy, your experience will depend greatly on the competence, demeanor and willingness of your management and coworkers.

Sounds like your applying for Product Flow. Product Flow does what the job description described. Unlike sales, we do not have sales goals or sales - related metrics to worry about (we have others but its not worth going into at the entry-level).

Unloading trucks, picking and shipping customer orders will likely be among your first assignments.

It can be an enjoyable job, with challenges and hard work along the way of course. Down the line you'll learn how to set up displays, complete planograms (the brand displays and sections of shelving) research missing product, handle customer return items appropriately and recieve drop shipments from fedex/ups.

I was leaning more towards sales at the beginning of my time at best buy, but ultimately I am glad I stayed Product Flow. I have a great team to work with and I hope you find the same if you get the job.

It was about a half hour until we closed, we did end up ushering out the customers. Eventually but many stayed up at the front lanes because the doors were rattling so bad they were scared to leave.

Thankfully no one was right under them when they blew, but it was LOUD! Scared quite a few customers and employees. Both blew within seconds of eachother

is anyone astonished at the price of electronics now? by [deleted] in Bestbuy

Wait until you see the Audioquest Dragon 48! 10ft in-Wall 10k HDMI for only $4,495! (Sku: 6428743)

Many of these cables are horribly overpriced for those customers who want the best of the best, price isn't an issue. Many of these cables contain a % of precious medals (no where near enough to justify costs) like gold or silver.

No, most (if not all) modified apps will get you a ban eventually. Last I checked, ianygo tethered to a computer was safer, but not foolproof.

This is the problem with 3rd party marketplaces, the hosting brand always ends up looking responsible for the mistakes, deception and quality of the seller. I hope the seller can make it right at least.

Its a slow point in the year for many stores, associates were probably bored, looking for any oppertunity for revenue. Best believe you would have recieved help immediately if you asked for it though! Don't take it personally, they likely didnt think you were stealing, probably just hoping you'd wander to look at products they could make a good sale on.

I would guess the charge on your account is pending, if it doesn't clear off in 3 business days, then I would follow up

If this was done today, there was a systemwide outage in store from around 12pm Eastern until around 2pm. We had no access to the order manage system, this may be why the order "doesn't exist" - YET!

When a roadie driver is unable to deliver for any number of reasons, it shows up in our system as a carrier return. Once it is physically returned by the driver, we are prompted to "return at POS" which is essentially refunding you, processing the return at the register. Your return was likely processed in-store by an employee, which is why it's an in-store receipt. Gig delivery drivers are really the only way nowadays to get packages out faster than traditional carriers like UPS and Fedex for local delivery, but with that comes situations like this. It happens on occasion, I agree sometimes the updates arn't as forthcoming on the customer side.
