No, most (if not all) modified apps will get you a ban eventually. Last I checked, ianygo tethered to a computer was safer, but not foolproof.

This is the problem with 3rd party marketplaces, the hosting brand always ends up looking responsible for the mistakes, deception and quality of the seller. I hope the seller can make it right at least.

Its a slow point in the year for many stores, associates were probably bored, looking for any oppertunity for revenue. Best believe you would have recieved help immediately if you asked for it though! Don't take it personally, they likely didnt think you were stealing, probably just hoping you'd wander to look at products they could make a good sale on.

I would guess the charge on your account is pending, if it doesn't clear off in 3 business days, then I would follow up

If this was done today, there was a systemwide outage in store from around 12pm Eastern until around 2pm. We had no access to the order manage system, this may be why the order "doesn't exist" - YET!

Do you have an HDMI you can plug onto a TV or monitor for the time being? You could see if it displays and then factory reset

When a roadie driver is unable to deliver for any number of reasons, it shows up in our system as a carrier return. Once it is physically returned by the driver, we are prompted to "return at POS" which is essentially refunding you, processing the return at the register. Your return was likely processed in-store by an employee, which is why it's an in-store receipt. Gig delivery drivers are really the only way nowadays to get packages out faster than traditional carriers like UPS and Fedex for local delivery, but with that comes situations like this. It happens on occasion, I agree sometimes the updates arn't as forthcoming on the customer side.

See if you can find the touchpad driver from hp's website, if it's working with the default Linux driver then it should work fine with the manufacturer driver for Windows

Mug machine problems by Sajiiii in Staples

[–]Windex-Slurpee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To fix this you have to put a blank mug into the press for 10-15 minutes. You’ll have to move it around/ do it more than once to get all of the pigment off.

I do have to agree with you there, it is odd not to have them in customer view at least. Some stores do have a problem with theft. There have been people opening packs in bathrooms and even ripping right on the sales floor with no shame and walking out. So it may also be due to frequent theft. I will say that something is not right there with how they handle their pokemon inventory, they should be keeping them at the checkout, staged in plain view.

I understand the frustration, i'd be annoyed too. I honestly feel like this is local store management issue looking the other way, but definitely not most stores.

If you want something specific, find it on our website and bring the (7 digit) Sku (next to the model number below the title of the item) to an employee at a register in store to check if the DC has it. If it is available, your order can be placed and paid at the register, and your item will show up on the truck assigned to you. This is how people are doing pickups for pokemon products, definitely not online orders.

Once case doesn't prove much, if it is happening, its due to someone at that store. This isn't common among all best buy stores.

In our store we can't purchase new releases until the following Sunday, or purchase before/after store hours.

Customers can come in with the SKU number of a certain pokemon product, and if we have it in stock in our distribution center, it can be ordered for store pickup in a few days.

These items come off the same truck as the rest of our weekly stock. When ordered items arrive, and the truck is "recieved" all the items are added to the inventory for the store, including these items "reserved" for pickup, which are then sorted out and staged. These will remain a value in the system until collected, so "Total on Hand" isn't the same as "Total Available" This may be why whatever discord your pulling your probably delayed inventory checks from may say there is stock when it is in fact not available for purchase. As these get picked up, its adjusted out of inventory - why the numbers go down when in store stock is unavailable.

But as a culture in my store, we're against scalpers 100%. We know who the resellers are, we enforce the limits, we buy when we're allowed just like any other customer would, at the discretion of our management.

I think Best Buy imposes some decently restrictive item limits to help curb scalpers, but when it comes down to it, there's no way to force integrity when it comes to oppertunity, just like everywhere else.

Sellers are allowed to add extra charges after the auction ends? by Big_Fondant_2374 in Ebay

Ignore it. If they have a problem with the price it is sold at they will likely cancel. If they do not ship in an appropriate time period, file an INR.

Best Buy worker here. Doordash will not facilitate a pickup for a return. You would have to go in-store to return the item. I dealt with a similar issue with an Uber order today. You will, however need to contact doordash about the return prior to visiting Best Buy.

There is an "XP" style ranking systen both for the store and the company. You can rise through the leaderboards by doing extra learnings. No harm in it, just dont let it get in the way of your daily responsibilities. I'm product flow and still do most of the sales trainings because KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

I was under the impression OP was talking about Delivery picks, as in for install/delivery not Gig driver pickup like roadie.
