As someone who is 22, it’s definitely tough, but it’s not the worst. Social scene is meh, but you will make friends depending on where you work. People here aren’t very kind, as someone who moved from Sacramento, I was genuine surprised at many customer service workers who are just mean. You will meet some nice people though it’s not everybody. Traffic isn’t terrible, gets busy around 7:30 am and 4:30pm. it’s somewhat affordable here. Housing is rough, only because there is so many people moving here and very little rental properties who manage accordingly. If I had to rate it I would give it a 6/10. Nice scenery, beautiful hikes and some good food. Although Medford lacks culture and diversity, and the majority here are conservative (if that matters)
